You can link by clicking the names above. She told me to use acetone to remove what she put on there but won't tell me what it is. It's like a polyurethane coating it's so thick. You can see she's used it on all of her Coach bags.
Yes, they look too shiny. If she knows acetone removes it then she probably had complaints before.

At first I thought you were talking about that seller that takes 10 days after the sale to polish bags. I can't remember his/her ebay name.

Oh, yeah! Was it the one who takes it to the professional cleaners because they don't have time to do the work themselves?

Oh Judy something... she uses the striped shopping bag in the background. She's on etsy too.

Yes! That's the one Whateve was talking about. I totally remember it because of the shopping bag.

And whoever does the work... uses wood-n-stuff like fillers, dyes, and polish.

I did a whole blog post on a train wreck courier that I got from her.
I remember reading that one fairly recently. You're definitely fearless when it comes to rehabbing! I maintain that I wouldn't be gutsy enough to remove glue from a carrier! I'd probably just say forget it and keep it like I have with a city bag that somebody used a hole punch on to make extra holes in the strap.

I wanted to share another successful use of my favorite eraser. (post #7956 or close)

This bag had on the crease a rub on mark that could be from denim or other dark fabric.
I tried the eraser before doing any thing else. Afterwards I applied a bit of Blackrocks are the area seemed a bit lighter, now you be the judge...

Looks much better!

Well ladies, barring any last minute onset of freezing rain/snow here, the HC will be here in a few hours for his first purse dunking lesson. :smile1: He said he felt bad because he wasn't bringing anything, I told him to just come armed with his years of shoe repair knowledge, lol!

Does anyone have any questions they'd like me to ask?

ETA: I will try to take a few pics. ;)
