Thanks for the explanation and I'm looking forward to more shots of her. You might find that you will have a use for the more shallow pockets as you are moving into her. I often wish my bags had a small lil outside pocket for handy access to necessities (tissues, lip balm - lol anything I feel I need while driving :)

Your bag with the solid color leather is more appealing to me than those. Those are more "funky," and dated. (By funky I mean: offbeat, unconventional.) Too much going on. The patterns there are pulling attention away from the amazingness of THREE kisslocks. Yours is timeless. Elegant. And so beautiful.
There was a solid color 2 kisslock bag that was released in Asia recently. I don't think it was available in the US. I don't know why; everyone who saw it wanted one.

I finally dunked what I thought was my black Three Frame Shoulder Tote from 1969 (thanks @whateve for the info) & it turned out to be a very dark blue! Im wondering if it might be the shade “royal blue” from a Cashin colour swatch I found on Google images…

The hardware faded into an antique nickel & I didn’t polish it because 1) I think the character suits the bag & 2) my Coach tooled tea rose bag charm matches perfectly with the imperfect nickel. The Mexican striped lining didn’t bleed in the dunk (thank you @katev for putting my mind at ease).

I LOVE this bag, I’ll never part with it! :girlsigh:

A direct light shot to show the blue-ness of the leather (might as well be blavy lol):

Wow! What a beauty! I wouldn’t part with it either.

Since I never paid much attention to the cheapo bags I used to carry, it always surprises me how recuperative good leather really is, as is shown here time and time again. Also the tea rose is stunning. Is there a place where these are sold ?

I'm so sorry to have missed this question, @Tilis. The beautiful tea rose was made by our very own extremely talented @LunaSilver. I believe she's currently on a hiatus from leatherworking... but we are all hoping she'll get back to it! Her tea roses are simply stunning!!!

(Please don't hate me. I believe I have 12 or 13 of them! :yahoo:)

Thanks LZ, I still haven’t make new ones yet. Your bags are so beautiful, and well organized.

They are stunning !!!! And I wont hate you, I'm glad you have them to show off to us :) The red and green especially, are such perfect compliments to the bags. Perhaps once LunaSilver takes herself off hiatus, I will be able to buy one as well.

Oh my. Now I kinda wish this one had "gotten lost in the mail", if you know what I mean, ha ha! This looks STUNNING!! Great job!

After a long bag ban and a rehab hiatus, I've acquired a purple (ink?) Tribeca tote that needs a spa day. I lost my horse hair shoe brush, my Leather CPR has expired, and I can't find my rehab towels and water proof crib liner that I use to protect my table from wet bags. I feel like I'm starting over. I also have a burgundy OG Rambler that has been waiting for the spa for maybe a year now. This whole entire thread is such an inspiration and motivation to get a move on though! You guys are amazing. I'm so jealous of your beautiful bags!

I don't hate you, I am just seriously annoyed with myself that I snoozed on the opportunity. :girlsigh: You have such a lovely, curated collection.

I have been on a bit of a buying break (and rehabbing break) too. Part of it happened organically after being mesmerized with a beautiful embossed red satchel, #7011 and my golden toned mystery Shopping Bag style I got in February. I have serious Courier envy, but have a hard time paying over $200 for a bag, let alone one I cannot return. The Courier collections here are killing me dead :faint: they are so stunning. One thought is that if I did find a Courier, $200-ish, and I wasn't thrilled, I could resell it and recoup the bucks.

If the CPR has been stored in your home, as in climate controlled and doesn't smell weird, I would be inclined to use it. But that's me.

I did purchase this cutie last month and was pleasantly surprised that seller accepted half their asking price. I need to see if the tab is salvageable ...
I also just bought a big, gorgeous hunk of vintage BT (insert your shocked face) and will post it soon
Nice to see everyone, plan to post a bit more regularly

I want a regular courier so bad but the prices are outrageous! I can’t believe I passed on a few that were under $100 in the past…
