Thank you for the update! :hugs:

Yes - that's my problem - my Court piping's strong scuffs and fading and other dry areas have barely changed whilst everywhere else was oversaturated. The BT casino turned out nicely because it was less parched and what there was the Chamberlain's and Saphir managed to fix. I love it and keep smooshing and hugging it, so soft...:girlsigh:

Waiting on CPR and redunking it is. When the time (finally) comes, I'll upload photographs of (1) on arrival; (2) dunk & non-CPR conditioners; and (3) redunk and CPR & BR!!! It should be a good visual comparison of the products.
Did you use Saphir on the Court bag too? If not you can try Saphir to see if the scuff will get better.

Thanks, yes - the Saphir improved the piping and scuffing immensely, Chamberlain's basically had no effect, and I'm going to apply it regularly leading up to whenever I finally get CPR and can redunk and apply CPR when damp. Thank you for your recommendation:hugs:

Im bored as I have no Coach bags to rehab...so I found a DKNY bag for $5 that Im actually going to dunk...yes ...dunk a soft pebbled leather bag in a pale colour as its dirty and has the dreaded colour transfer.
Im that bored...but $5 hey if it fails ...I dont really care.

Wish I could teleport my pile to you! ;)

Glad it helps. I like Saphir balm a lot, to me it is like CPR and Black Rock combined together. I usually use CPR after dunk, as it has very little oil content, almost can never put on too much. Sometimes I use black rock as finisher, other times finish with Saphir. I think Saphir has better ingredients than BR to nourish leather. It contain bees wax, jojoba oil and Shea butter etc, while BR use Caunaoba wax, better for sun protection I guess.
ETA: I would go easy on the Saphir as you can over do with it, then leather will feel greasy.

Hi guys, this is the first time I post in this thread. I got this beautiful Mahony vintage Coach Winnie recently but it has some dark marks on the surface. Is it possible to remove it? It looks like ink or mark pen. I searched online and some people suggested to use rubbing alcohol or Amedox ink and stain remover, but I'm not sure if that can apply on the leather of vintage coach bag. Any advice will be appreciated! Thank you!

Using alcohol or acetone will most likely lighten the leather around the stain without removing the stain completely and it will look worse than it does now. Ink is very hard to get rid of. Sometimes it cleans off but most of the time it doesn't.

I did the same early on! I found a Nine West lunch tote style that came out beautifully and an Etienne Agnier that did not, but for a few dollars why not.

A quality conditioner will otherwise give the bag a nice glow.

Hey guys, has anyone bought CPR from eBay? I came across this 32oz tub of CPR on eBay which altogether would cost $67 to ship to me, which would be cheaper per oz than from the CPR website. Thoughts? My only worry is it could be fake, haha.

You should be fine. Ebay has a buyer friendly return policy. CPR seems like a weird product to counterfeit but anything’s possible lol

Hi, a couple of years ago I purchased a used Legacy Bridget 11622 in Rose (2007) and it's a lovely bag, and now that Spring is here I plan to carry it again.

It's a little dull and faded but all I've done is surface clean and moisturize it and replace the missing hangtags. That's helped a little but it still isn't quite as nice as I would like it to be.

I am thinking of giving it a bath and going through the whole rehab treatment but I remember that there were some problems with the early 65th Anniversary Legacy bags that included bleeding and color transfer, but they fixed that with later releases. I don't think that the rose Bridget was one of the early releases - does anyone know for sure?

@whateve, I know that you are a fellow Bridget fan; do you know if the rose color was an early release or if problems were reported with it? I've searched TPF but haven't found anything specific.

I have rehabbed several 65th Anniversary Legacy bags and accessories without problems - including giving some baths - but this one is such a delicate color and so I am unsure. I know that a few rehabbers have experienced bleeding into the striped lining when rehabbing some dark-colored Legacy bags.

I only paid $21.50 for the bag so part of me says "Go for it!" but I'd hate to ruin it. On the other hand, I don't wear it as much as I probably would if I were happier with the appearance.

Below are a few auction pics, how would you rehab it? And have any of you ever rehabbed a similar bag; what was your experience like? Thanks!

I gave in and bought a Mahogany Lunch Box Zip because it was offered to me at a pretty good price:lol: I couldn’t resist! It needed a dunk and lots of CPR! I finished with a coat of Obenauf’s heavy duty LP and then Blackrocks. I forgot how satisfying mahogany rehabs are!

Not pictured is the strap; I had to reattach the leather ring thing that keeps the strap from flopping around. The previous owner had unattached it from it’s original position, but I was afraid the metal piece that holds the ring together would scratch the leather as it moved around the strap. Took some stitch pulling and sewing leather, but it looks good as new now.
You can see in the first ‘after’ picture that I stuffed small pieces of scrap leather where the handle wraps around the d-ring; I found this keeps the handle from flipping around so much;) I also did this to my BT Lunch Box and Taupe Station Bag so far. I’ll probably also do my Mahogany Station as well.

Thanks. Yes, it's a weird one but the authentication thread showed me even the most unexpected items get faked so I was doubting myself. OK, I've just ordered it! Should arrive in May. Eek!!!
