It is nice, but with the rehab needed and handle condition I am going to cancel. I may also have a box on my porch right now with another bag... Just didn't want to let an affordable Musette pass me by.

I had posted a link to a $100 muesette that had $25 off for new customers a week or so ago. It was on Vestsiare I think.

Probably thinner because it is older. Pre-creed and pre-number bags have thinner leather usually.

It may be mahogany brown. I once rehabbed a Court that called "maroon" because I couldn't decide on the color, but after the rehab was done I realized that it was a rich, warm brown color with red undertones - see the link below:

yes...I think she will darken to much like yours...which is beautiful by the way. I hope I do as good a job.

Both of your bags have the xxxx-xxx format serial number which probably means they were made from around 1990 to mid-1994 before the new serial number format was used. Here's what I have for the reddish-brown color choices for those years:

1990 Burgundy, Mahogany

1991 Burgundy, Mahogany

1992 Burgundy, Mahogany

1993 Mahogany, Bordeaux

And for comparison:
