Willis coming along nicely...just a bit more drying and a Renapur and shes good to go.
Not much colour has come back on the corners, would the Renapur help with that?View attachment 4712511
I have never tried Renapur, but use Elephant leather preserver as a substitute for this or Blackrock. It would absolutely help with that. The corner fading is minimal and I'm sure it will bounce back whatever your choice of last-step product.

I know, and I think it was assumed to be some type of leather composite. I'm not sure anymore that mine has it, while the flap is very stiff, the sandwich visible through the hardware looks like two regular leather panels to me. I might be wrong, but the leather on this one is super thick anyway.
Do you find Manor heavy?
ETA: I don't have any yet but got two on their way to me.

this wasn’t directed at me, thought I would weigh in, pun intended. Carrying my Manor in hand (and I carry litte in my bags) I found it heavy for shopping. But I loved the bag so I put the shoulder strap on (don’t usually do a long shoulder strap) and really liked it better that way. It didn’t feel heavy to me as a shoulder bag.

Thank you very much for the answer, I use shoulder strap most the time, should be ok then.

Lucky you! I'd say yes, very heavy, but I don't mind. The shoulder strap is also very substantial and the bag hangs well when worn crossbody (from my short first pre-dunk impression). I find the way a bag sits against the body more important to overall comfort than just weight. My City is significantly lighter, but hangs and swings a little awkward, so she's not the most comfortable to wear.

Thank you very much for the answer. Agree with you for the City, I rarely use mine either.

This is my failed rehab experience to share here, so you may avoid the mistake I made.
The Bridle made in Italy bag was in bad shape in eBay listing, but I got it at a cheap bidding price (shipping is twice of bidding price for international, so not that cheap in total). I did normal routine of dunk, shape, conditioning etc. The problem was this line of hand bag was made with thin calf Leather, with cardboard backing, it didn't age well. The badly deformed shape was impossible to reshape again. Even worse, the seam all along the exterior outline, was sew together with cardboard sandwiched in between, then edge painted black. With years of usage, the leather and cardboard separated all along the seam edge, dunk made it even worse, the cardboard started to falling apart. While working on this bag, I felt so frustrated and didn't have the satisfaction of bring a quality bag back to life at all. ( I know there is lots Italy made vintage Coach lovers out there, but not me)
I glued edges together with shoe goo, touch up with black paint.
The badly deformed front panel near bottom left appeared was burned by chemical or high heat in the past, the leather and underneath backing felt hardened and shrunken. Out of desperation, I pull out the steam iron, put a hard surfaced small box inside the bag, started to press the leather trying to flatten it . Started low temp but It had little effect, so I started to turn up the temp setting. It improved the front of bag quite a bit, then I moved on the back panel of bag, somehow the temp dial must be touched, the iron became too hot and left a big burn mark at the back.
The burn mark somewhat resembles a lip shape, someday I may paint the famous Marilyn Monroe big red lip at the back of the bag.
Bottom line: the rehabbed bag is usable, but don't have the feel nor look of high quality. Before picture here from eBay.
