Just finished rehabbing a navy Madison Tuxedo! I love the chain.

After stuffing to shape (she arrived completely flat), 2 coats of Leather CPR, 2 coats of Leather Therapy, and soaking the chain in vinegar before using a polishing cloth:

She wasn’t dirty, just really dry with a super tarnished chain! We have 2 weddings to go to this year (so far) and I’m looking forward to using her at those occasions.

Lovely and elegant bag.

I just posted this British Tan Willis in the authentication thread. It's from 1999 in Costa Rica. I bought it for $35 on Mercari; it appears to be in pretty good shape except for these circles on the bottom - do you think that they are mold?

try using a hairdryer on it and see if its spew...might disappear. It wouldnt hurt to try. You will know if its mold when you get it I suppose.

Ideas please my friends. Have a work mate who likes the scooter look but wants an adjustable strap. Any other options for a small turnlock bag.

It's not a turnlock style, but the Blazer Bag 9830 might be a good option. It has 2 outside slip pockets and an inside pocket and the bag is pretty small.

Spue, a fatty residue on leather sometimes mistaken for mold.

I still can’t figure out what mine is. It didn’t disappear when I put the hair dryer on it and I also watched a number of videos of people removing mold off leather on YouTube and at least surface-wise it should brush off but that didn’t happen with mine. It also doesn’t smell like mold or mildew to me... so I’m concluding that it’s just some weird stain, I guess.

What are your best tips and tricks for very dry leather? I'm doing so many coats of CPR and it's helping but still dry.View attachment 4689203
Is it authentic? Non-Coach bags don't respond the same. For very dry bags, I've used Leather Honey.

ETA: Did you bathe it? A bath helps open up the pores so the conditioner soaks in better.
