I’m not dunking this one for sure, but man I didn’t see that ink stain on the pictures. Ugh [emoji58] It’s on the front by the buckle. I know there is no getting that out or lightening it. Do you think I should wipe it down with vinegar? I’m gonna try reshaping in with foam board with the shower. There is a open seam at the bottom of the binding, so I’m going to look for leather cement tomorrow. Is there a preferred brand? Any other suggestions? Thanks soooo much! IMG_0163.JPG

I"m glad you got that, I was watching it.

The ink mark isn't too noticeable, in my opinion. I would wipe the bag down with vinegar, then when it dries, Leather CPR and buff. Finish with Blackrock, buff again, and you're good to go. Over time the ink mark may become even less noticeable as the natural patina develops.

For gluing, I like Fiebings Leather Cement.

Thanks so much Catbird9! I wasn’t sure I would be able to bid when it ended. I keep telling myself this is the last bag I’m going to buy, but I had to bid. I’m done. I’m saving for my HG bag now [emoji5] I really appreciate all suggestions and all your help. Thanks so much again [emoji16]

You can appeal the decision. Ebay won't remove a bag just because a competitor didn't want the competition. We will happily reauthenticate it for you on the AT thread but ebay won't take our word on authenticity. There are other reasons bags are removed besides authenticity. You should double check with ebay for the exact reason for the removal. Sometimes there are words you can't use.

I had this happen and it was so infuriating. They told me their authenticator knew it wasn’t authentic and strongly told me not to relist it. I would call and see what they say, but for me, it did no good. When I asked what made the authenticator think it was fake, they wouldn’t tell me bc I could use that information to make a fake bag. Me, a college professor from a small town who just loves purses.

I quit eBay for a while after that too, but the siren call has brought me back in.

Anyway, the saga is in the AT thread if you want to see it. I haven’t posted a ton, so you can probably find it with a search if you wanted to see what eBay told me at the time. Good luck!!!!

Thanks valv54! Your bag is gorgeous and I think it’s a good size too! I’m look forward to carrying it. Thanks for sharing the name too, I was searching for the name with no luck [emoji16]
I only know it cuz there is our exact bag on display at the coach flagship store on 5th Ave in nyc lol. But I agree with you it's a great little bag. The brass on my bag had alot of patina and dark areas, and cleaned up immediately with just a little white vinegar. Just a litte tip. :coolio:

Ebay doesn't have authenticators. They have ebay members that report listings. I don't think they will remove a listing just from one report, unless that report comes from one of their trusted reporters. Even these people can make mistakes.

Well, maybe they were just saying what they needed to say to get me off the phone but they said their experts identified certain things that were wrong with the bag. *shrug*

Thanks so much for the tip! Never been to the flagship store. I should try and get there at some point just to see what is there, but it just might make my addiction worse [emoji6]
