They opened a flagship store in Tokyo earlier this week. I assume that's what they mean by "modern luxury."

My dear coach SA told me a while ago that the Beverly Hills store has closed due to a major remodel. I guess this is why. That part of town, especially Rodeo Drive, where the coach boutique is located, is where all the super high end stores are . They get lots of visitors who spend lots of $$. Hope it'll help their bottom line.
