Have you checked out both bags in person?

I have a Speedy B 30 and actually kind of loathe it. I find the opening to be too small, the bag body too big (and I LIKE large bags). This combination makes it ultra cumbersome to find anything or take things in and out easily. The single inside pocket is also too small to be useful.

I'd absolutely suggest going to the stores and examining both bags in great detail, to see if they will fit your life and use cases.

I say if you have wanted a speedy for that long , go for it ! I had a few Coach bags over the years . To be honest , they were either to heavy to carry for long periods of time . Or I got bored with them , colors , patterns , my style changed etc . I sold them all and never looked back . I carry my LV bags all the time . I love them for their classic style , light in weight , neutral color which goes with everything , and I never get bored or tired of them . In the end , go with what makes YOU happy. Which ever bag makes your heart skip a beat , that is the winner ! Good luck

I also have both bags. I am in love with my Parker, I carry it both casual and formally and it served me well. I love this bag because I can carry it on my shoulder and crossbody, and it keeps my items organized. Plus it gets lots of attention and is affordable. It makes me smile every time I use it.

I have a speedy 25 that I also like, I got it because Audrey Hepburn used to carry a similar one. I carried it for a few months, but then I stopped using it. The reason why is because it’s too heavy and I get tired of having to fumble for my items. I could buy a purse organizer but they are pricey for a bag I won’t carry all the time.

So all-in-all, I prefer the Coach. But if you’re not planning on carrying the Parker everywhere, then maybe get the Speedy. Good luck!

I'm an avid fan of both and have been for years. I tend to lean to the more seasonal pieces because looking back, not being able to find a bag I truly loved after it was sold out stings a lot more than a price increase. Don't feel obligated to buy a bag because you think it's a classic or seems more prestigious. It needs to be bought because you love it.
