wow your mom did a GREAT job!!! and i don't like the patchwork scarf. i think signature would be best! (imagine the red signature one with the hearts, that would be SOOOOOO adorable!) but i'm sure we can find better deals at the outlets! someone would have to go pick them up though!

Lolitablue are you sure your mom is willing to do this? We might get a good amount of ppl wanting to participate and it could be very overwhelming!! Of course as mentioned by other person she will be getting credit for making these! Also are we 100% sure we can get 5 headbands (of the size headband you posted) out of one scarf? I just wanna make sure bc when we start groups I dont want anyone left out.

So heres what we need to do. I will do the organizing of groups starting with color choices. That way everyone gets what they want! You can be in more than one group if you wish so you can get a variety. We need someone to participate in purchasing the scarfs from the outlet (We dont have one in Az) and letting us know what they found and what colors so we can all agree on each scarf. Then we could paypal the money over to that person and then mail them to lolitablue!

I just wanna make sure we are not breaking any forum rules by doing this!

When I get the ok from everyone I will start a new thread "Coach Headband Sign Up" and we can go from there!

She is retired and she is always looking for something to do. I will visit Michael's to get an accurate price on the cost of materials, such as the glue, base for the headband, black thread to cover the glue and will provide everybody with that. I would not be involved with the purchasing of the scarves (unless we find a really good deal at the outlet). Example: if we find a $50.00 and 5 people purchase it, based on the 27 x 27 inches, that should be good for 5 headbands. The materials part should not be more than $5.00 per person and my Mom is asking $10.00 per band. That should be about $25.00 per person.

Forgot to add that the $50.00 is an estimate, based on the current prices. I bought one for $7.99 (at the outlet) but it won't do the trick, because it is too thin. We are looking for the thicker, sturdier ones.

When I looked at the e-bay thread the images didn't show up but I'm okay with almost ANY scarf print .. I love them all.

So lolitablue, can you start a new thread detailing the potential costs as you did above -- or have people PM you if interested and you can start a list --that might make it easier to get a firm number of people?

I believe that ThaLizrdqueen is going to organize the groups by color choices, once everybody agrees on what they wish to get. Based on options, if everybody is willing to pitch in, $10.00 (just to buy the scarf), we would not have to wait to get one from an outlet, just a retail store).

UPDATE, UPDATE: It is confirmed that 5 headbands would come out of the 27 X 27 inches scarf.
It is up to you ladies on how fast you wish to move on this project.

Thank you, we are suppose to get a new thread to get everybody to agree on the colors, design, etc. ThaLizrdqueen is doing that.
We will keep the updates.
