I agree with BeenBurned. There's nothing wrong with the Turkey creed and serial number stampings so if there are problems with the bag itself it's because a poorly constructed and sewn item was released for sale when it shouldn't have been.

We're not in any position here to judge leather quality. And yes, you probably should have looked closer. I wouldn't ever consider buying OR authenticating a Coach item using a cell phone. Return it and go over photos of something you're thinking of buying with a magnifying glass and with a real computer if necessary from now on.

And J8Y- serials are always fake.

Oh I already returned it. So far I have had zero problems returning bags to good Will. I wish they take clearer pictures of them and not relist the ones that are obviously fake. Whether we agree on their authenticity or not, the bags would be a huge disappointment to anyone that frequents these forums. I probably have 25 different vintage coaches on deck right now for just a bath and condition to a few that have ripped seams, mold stains and pulled off hardware, none of them were as dissapointing as these were. Catywampus, badly stitched leather that feels like hide from a rodeo bull and can't be closed properly is just plain sad.

Several comments:

• You definitely should check your records for your purchase(s) because all those bags posted above (4 of them) are very obvious fakes if one knows what to look for.
• Employees at Coach stores are the LAST and least reliable places to go for authentications of Coach items. Not only are they not trained to authenticate but they are actually prohibited from authenticating by their company policy

Instead of attacking and accusing those who pointed out your fakes and instead of blaming those who may have reported, how about you file disputes against the seller from whom you purchased them.

In case you need advice, we can help those who are open to accepting and admitting they goofed. You're too late to file disputes through ebay but Paypal offers 180 day buyer protection.

Again, the 4 bags you posted on Mercari and the same ones on ebay are/were fake and if you can, get refunds!

ETA: Oh, and find a new "authenticator" instead of using a Coach employee.
