I have that fob and LOVE it. Weird though, that's not the chain it came on. That chain looks like a toggle closure bracelet, no?

I was just looking at the larger Shadow bag on Coach.com and the hang tag is attached to the bag with the same small chain with the toggle closure. Oops, not the angle I wanted, but you can still see the toggle chain. The photo with the flap open shows the chain even better.

You're right, that does sure look to be the same one! The one I bought is identical to the photo on the Japan site.

BTW, how cute is that bag!?! Wonder if it would be heavy with all the chain? I really like the detail on the hang tag.

I tried it on. It doesn't seem that heavy. I'm waiting to see the Biker rip and repair version.

I think that toggle chain may be on all the newer bags? I just noticed it on a new swagger on the Dillard's website.

I love that bag too! I have a Dakota so I don't think the weight would bother me. Plus, I turned a couple of large Legacy wristlets / clutches into crossbody / shoulder wear with a chain strap and that weight doesn't bother me either. I don't think it has enough room for me though and I have no place to check it out either. I'll probably just wait until a few people on here buy one and let us know what it can hold.

I'd love to see that version too. Though IF I do get one, it will probably be the black one. I like it best of all the colors, even over the racing green one on Bloomingdale's website.

That Biker Rip n Repair is T. D. F. !

Kawasaki actually makes a Nomad motorcycle {or at least they did up until 2008-ish}. I wonder if Coach had to get any kind of permission to use the word "Nomad" on a bag they're calling a "Biker".

Are there any IP attorneys on this forum?

There isn't a Nomad Biker bag, is there? They are two separate styles, I think. Plus those are normal words. I guess it would depend on whether Kawasaki trademarked the phrase "Nomad Biker." If they did, then I guess Coach wouldn't be allowed to use the same phrase to describe a bag, but I'm not a lawyer so I could be wrong.

Yeah, I'm no lawyer either but here is the Rip n Repair BIKER bag with a NOMAD hangtag. And just to make matters even more confusing, Yamaha makes a Shadow!

So we have a COACH BIKER (Yamaha) SHADOW bag with a (Kawasaki) NOMAD hangtag!!

forgot to add the link!! http://www1.bloomingdales.com/shop/...fn=spp=4&ppp=180&sp=1&rid=&spc=5&cm_kws=coach shadow%26cm_kws_ac%3Dfalse%26pn%3D1

I don't know why that link isn't taking you right to the bag. Go to Bloomingdales website and type Coach Shadow into the search box, you'll see it there.

How did you turn the large Legacy clutches into shoulder bags??!? There's only a clip on one side. :thinkin:

I added a metal stud with a D ring on either end. Yes, I dared to alter a Coach leather item. I'll post photos tomorrow.
You're so brave! I was tempted to do this with a vintage clutch but because it is vintage, I couldn't bring myself to alter it. However, I just got the nerve up to remove the attached strap off my Poppy bag!
