Coach Fall 2017 Thread!

Surely they're just messing me with me now...full retail price bag bought online last week (I blacked out the address). Came with other packages from UPS, none of which looked like this, just Coach. The customer rep on the phone said I could just return so I have to get a new box since I can't even use the one it came in. Bag / gift box crushed too. Between everything I'm just about done, I don't care anymore since they clearly don't either. In case anyone here cares:

You are really having a run of bad luck with Coach! I've had that happen, not quite as bad, with Coach boxes. I don't think they are sturdy enough, and if they don't use enough stuffing, they crush easily.

Yeah, it's certainly not my week in any regard. :( S-t happens but this often and with such apathy...maybe I shouldn't expect much.

Not that I'm necessarily sticking up for Coach, but I think that crushed box is due to handling from the carrier, not Coach. Due to my job, I receive packages daily and every once in awhile I see this kind of damage and same as you, I will have perfect packages along with a damaged one. My UPS driver did say sometimes boxes are shoved at their warehouse or fall off stacks which causes this kind of damage, the telltale sign is the black streaks on the bottom. :sad: I know my Coach item orders that come from JAX go thru three stops/exchanges/depots before it gets to me and damage could easily be done at any of these exchanges.

Yeah, maybe you're right. Perhaps it's just a coincidence I have received 3 heavily damaged packages in the last two weeks and to have the actual items inside affected as well. Just seems like Coach should care or be more apologetic? The item I ordered is sold out so a replacement isn't even an option, maybe I'll try to see if the leather will straighten out.

This has happened to me as well- I do not understand why Coach packages items for shipment so poorly. Was the bag damaged as well? I would return it ASAP- this is so unacceptable it defies logic. I certainly understand your souring on the brand with all you have been through.

The bag was crushed along with the box and the gift box/bag, but I put some paper in it to see if it can bounce back. It was the cute little space rexy dinky, which is sold out now. I actually really like this bag but I probably will have to send this one back :( I'm a bit conflicted since the bag doesn't seem extremely damaged yet when you have the displeasure of opening up a package like that and see a new item looking crushed it's hard to be excited about it (hardly feels new).

Ordered an item where they packed it with the chain laid on top of the leather. It arrived looking like it had chicken pox.

Yup, I think this is on the carrier. I have had boxes from premier designers come like this; though I have never had an issue with any of my Coach boxes from JAX. But I HAVE actually seen UPS drivers (usually the contracted drivers, not their employee drivers) throw boxes that require signature on doorsteps, etc. I have also had them deliver to wrong address, etc. Since I am in Canada sometimes of course the boxes have been opened for Customs, but yeah, sometimes the carriers are not kind to our purchases!
 
I'm speechless. I don't know if it's love but definitely a different feeling. They are so beautiful, the details are amazing. The only thing is they are VERY small. My full size wallet doesn't fit in. They are numbered as well.

I'm speechless. I don't know if it's love but definitely a different feeling. They are so beautiful, the details are amazing. The only thing is they are VERY small. My full size wallet doesn't fit in. They are numbered as well.

Wow! The question on my mind is...can they all fit in your NF? They would make for some very cute (albeit heavy!) SLGs! :amuse:

They are super cute. I like the horses!

These aren't up my alley anyway, but not being able to fit a somewhat larger wallet (at least a 6 1/2" length) would be a dealbreaker for me. I don't necessarily need to be able to put my full size in ALL my bags but I don't like having to switch wallets around too much. I also don't like feeling like I am basically carrying a wallet for my wallet, if that makes sense...something that does not fit much more than my wallet.

However, if you like them perhaps it is worth keeping at least one of them, for special events where changing to a card case for the day/evening will be do-able? If I were you I definitely would not keep all of them, as I would rather use the funds spent on the others for something else, either a more functional bag or something else altogether.

P.S. I always like when these sorts of reveals happen in cars...reminds me I am not the only crazy one who is too impatient to open up new deliveries!
