I'm not surprised they are going to be discontinued. I almost bought a Mercer when they were 50% off but I wasn't wowed. I think the style is very functional though. With the pretty metallic color and the stars, I think it might elevate the bag enough to wow me.

I felt same in person. I really normally like colours like this but it just did not wow me when I saw it in store last weekend.
I definitely prefer Mineral to Turquoise! Love the colour of my Mineral Whiplash Saddle so much
I saw it and wasn't impressed as the turquoise looks dull. Maybe it looks different in natural light... it's so hard to tell because of the lighting in the Coach store! This is the bag I was planning to buy [emoji20]
Try to see it in person if you can, it may be a color you like!
Actually, for one, I really like this color. I think most of the problem is with calling it a "turquoise". It's definitely not like the previous seasons turquoise and not what we think of when we think of that bright color. I think they should have called it like a "mineral green" or something. It's more of a deep blue-y green.
Unfortunately I don't have a store near me. The next time I will be close to one is in November.
I really don't like the real color turquoise. I was hoping for mineral green! Almost like what the coach picture looked like for mineral.

It looks quite different than mineral, in my opinion. I don't think the turquoise is a "bad" colour or anything, it just is not lively enough for me if I am going to get something with colour (versus a neutral) or something. Hard to explain.
I agree, I wouldn't call it Mineral. The color hue is dull, sort of washed out. It is hard to explain the color; it's like someone took bleach and dropped it on turquoise.

Color preference is subjective. I saw the new turquoise color in my Coach boutique and I like it. True, it's not the bright, very blue hue that one thinks of regarding turquoise, and the color does lean toward mineral. A lovely color nonetheless! 
I'm sorry, she didn't say and I didn't think to ask. She did say they would be available in mid August.
I saw the new turquoise color yesterday and I'm also not impressed. I normally love blue-green shades, but as others stated, this one seems really dull. Although I was bummed, it's probably a good thing since I don't NEED another Rogue!
So the color of the tote looks way different than the picture I posted of the rogue?
Is this a more accurate picture of what the color of the tote really looks like?
