If it makes you happy ... Do it. It doesn't look tacky. Just share the Cherry love with other bags too sometimes.
Ugh.....wish online pics were more accurate! Turquoise was also a disappointment. I'm actually going to try and see it tomorrow so I can finally make a decision.
I think blues, teal, turquoise are all hard online. I thought I'd love cloud. I don't. Saw blue steel in person Monday... It's what I hoped cloud would be.
That skating scene sure reminds me of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" <sigh> and my childhood!
Are you talking about bandit with the purple on the outside? I wonder if it's the same shade of purple the the tooled rose bandit is?

The dark turquoise read green to me than blue. It's not an ugly color per se, it's just not the turquoise I'm used to.
This is why look here for pictures than the stock photos.
I'm guessing it's not. I examined my Violet Dakotah last night which was made a few years back. The outside pebbled leather is a few shades darker than the suede interior, same for my teal dakotah. I'm hoping I'm wrong though!
I agree it's not turquoise like the stone. My blue steel rogue... Maybe. But I'm sure you've already seen accurate pics. It says Tues, which will pour rain so I'm freaking. Stupid holiday. I'm hoping it comes early tomorrow. Not holding my breath.
Actually I haven't. [emoji31] I'm telling you my store rarely gets the fun colors. I'd have to trek to either Rodeo Drive or South Coast Plaza to see the special pieces and colors.

Only a few of you know, as I accidently posted my heartbreaking disappointment in a different thread, and decided to leave it hidden there until I decide what to do next. Short story -- my Burgundy Rexy Tote arrived late Wednesday night, after sundown, and I was horrified to find an OXBLOOD Rexy Tote. I was hoping that the non sunlight (artificial light) was playing a trick on me and that Thursday, as soon as the sun rises, I'd find my Burgundy Rexy.
Sadly, Thursday morning, in sunlight, I just found a brighter version of Oxblood! As I joked earlier, in a horrible case of deja vu, I'm reliving my original Aubergine Nightmare all over again. The frickin' bag is a beautiful shade of BROWN, probably Oxblood. That'd be fine IF I liked Brown or Oxblood...but I DON'T!! I paid almost $1,100 (after tax), for a BURGUNDY Rexy Tote 38, and I won't settle for a color that fell victim to either a colorblind photographer OR Coach execs. that played "pin the tail" on their Coach color chart when deciding what name they'd label this Brown.
I've already notified my SA that Rexy is going back in a few days, and despite my Drama Queen post here, I am over the initial trauma. I know people have lost loved ones and homes with Harvey, so I'm trying to keep things in perspective (not very successfully, I know). Swapping it for the Orange version is not an option because the Carriage graphic looks too lightly stamped, for my taste. At least it's nice and dark on my current one. And the 1941 Red interior on mine is TDF, but no dice.
Sorry for the lengthy ramble -- you all understand how seriously we take our beloved handbags, I'm sure.

Coach mislabeling their colors seems to have become the norm. If you don't see it IRL first, be prepared for major disappointment!

Oh I am sorry to hear of your disappointment but I understand. Yes, I agree- in the scheme of things, this is a very small blip but I knew how you were looking forward to the tote. Of course this is too much to spend to not be thrilled with it. I too would prefer a burgundy- I am not a brown bag person either.
