I like it too. In my experience, bags with fur or shearling never sell well. These almost always end up at the outlet. Maybe it is different in Canada? Plus a lot of people won't spend over $1000 on a Coach, no matter how nice it is.

I bought a fur trimmed Coach bag on ebay for $25.

I don't think rain will hurt the fur unless they get soaked. You could always flip it inside the bag when it rains. We have the world's largest trees (giant sequoias) but it rarely rains here. BC is gorgeous.

Sigh, you're right about the $1k Coach bag threshold or even lower. If I continue to look at online images of the red nubuck Rhyder 33, I sort of want it but it's 'only' $650 usd, up here I have to fork out $800 and it probably will not come with the feather fob since those sold out. My SA said the full feather fob was supposed to be a gift with purchase with certain bags including Rhyder 33 but they are all gone. Guess I'll just see how I feel about the red nubuck bag once it arrives. That's the problem with these bags that are NOT going to be in stock in local boutiques - I have to order first.

Hi, I just received my red nubuck Rhyder 33, and it didn't come with a feather fob for sure. They seemed to have updated their packing though, which is nice. Guess the chase for the elusive feather continues!

I think you are mistaken. There is a metallic gunmetal and a metallic bronze on the website. The Rhyder in gunmetal only comes in the 24 and 33, at least at the moment. I wish it came in the regular Rhyder Satchel, as well. I find the 33 way too large, but the 24 too small for everyday use.

Looks like the metallic bronze Rhyder is available in the regular Satchel and Messenger.
