I like it too. In my experience, bags with fur or shearling never sell well. These almost always end up at the outlet. Maybe it is different in Canada? Plus a lot of people won't spend over $1000 on a Coach, no matter how nice it is.

I bought a fur trimmed Coach bag on ebay for $25.

I don't think rain will hurt the fur unless they get soaked. You could always flip it inside the bag when it rains. We have the world's largest trees (giant sequoias) but it rarely rains here. BC is gorgeous.

We don't have good outlets here but I think there are Coach Outlets in Ontario. I don't cross border shop for Coach much but I have been to a few outlet malls in WA state.


I hear you loud n clear about the more $ Coach bags. There's another thread all about Coach's game plan...how to turn their image, market share, sales around...jacking up prices on funkier bags won't do the trick. I have to wait patiently :)

Well bad news :( She said this was actually the light blue one, it just looks green in the picture. So sad, I would have loved this in green.

You know, I wasn't really attracted to the Fendi bugs when I saw them online. Then I handled one at Nordstrom, and completely changed my mind. Some of those faces are a lot more intricate than just glued on .... patches of mink and sheared fox fur forming eyebrows and facial features.

All I know is that while in Nords, I saw the bugs in the distance and wanted to show them to our daughter. You know ... to share a laugh at the silliness. The SA (who was being extra helpful because I'd just purchased a Burberry from her) got one down and let us examine it, prompting my next thought of, "Wow, more intricate and better quality than I had admittedly expected." And later? By the time we were in the car driving home? .... Yeah ... by then I was telling hubby to prepare himself for a shock --- I now intend to get one. :laugh:
