Question re Leather Band Detail on regular Duffle....please excuse me if this has been asked before...

Does anyone know why the duffle has the beautiful leather band running from top to bottom of the bag on one side, but not the other? One side has the decorative band, the other has a double row of stitching instead.

Just curious why they designed it this way rather than having the decorative band on both sides of the duffle, so if anyone has info from Coach it would be greatly appreciated!

I had wondered that myself...it's a little peculiar but not enough to stop me from buying them! ;)

That's weird; I had to get mine out to see what you meant. I wonder why they did that???

Once u you the letter you cant use it again

Yeah, that's the normal policy. But she's responding to the fact that I backordered my purse on my credit card and told the SA that I wanted to get credited 40% (with my letter) and pay with store credit after I receive it. So if I don't like it, I can return it for a full refund and not use my letter.

You're basically buying the bag 'normal' and IF you like it, the 40% comes into play when you rebuy!!! Good thinking!!!! Get to see your bag first: I like how you think :)

I was checking out the Rorys displayed in my Coach boutique. The picture shows what they've done. The longer strap is attached upside down. The SA's wondered how I was carrying mine - and I had to show them how to double it - and show them the card in the pocket with the care card, showing you how to do it. I guess the upside down way was their own thing, in trying to get it to slouch. I've now done that with mine, when not in use, and it has really softened the corners. If you carry it as a satchel, with the short handles, you could probably leave the longer strap this way all of the time, to keep it out of the way.

Do the short handles fit over your shoulder? TIA!!

Thank you for this! This is a good idea.

Oh, how funny. I stepped into FP yesterday just to browse, and I thought to myself, it would look so much better to attach the long strap upside down if you're not going to use it. Looks so much better. :smile1:
