Sounds like there's some uncertainty in when this duffle will ship, but I really don't care as long as I get one eventually! Tho yeah it would be nice to have a confirmed, solid date.

Well, I haven't paid for it yet (since it doesn't charge until it's shipped), but you can't backorder with merchandise credit, so I asked SA if I could backorder with my credit card and then get credited 40% and then have the rest paid for by store credit, and she said she'd be able to do that for me.

So if you don't love it when it arrives, you can get a full refund and still have your 40% off letter? Great SA!

Well that's a deal!!!! I may just wait for your reveal before ordering. I also have 40% and merchandise credit.

MAYBE the stores are able to fill back orders first? If that is the case, MAYBE I could order through my store paying fp with cc: ship to the store. Return on the spot or keep/rebuy with 40% + mc???? Would have to do initial order over the phone, live 1.5+ hours way from fp. Do you think it would be delivered to fp by 9/15? May have to make a trip. Hmmmm......

Question re Leather Band Detail on regular Duffle....please excuse me if this has been asked before...

Does anyone know why the duffle has the beautiful leather band running from top to bottom of the bag on one side, but not the other? One side has the decorative band, the other has a double row of stitching instead.

Just curious why they designed it this way rather than having the decorative band on both sides of the duffle, so if anyone has info from Coach it would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, that's what it seems like! I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask, and she said, "yeah I can definitely do that for you." The SAs at my store really want me to bring the bag in to show everyone when I get it too. :laugh:
