Haha! I think it’s because it’s mostly the coated canvas now. I still don’t really care for the fabric signature items. It all started when I bought a MFF brown signature double Zip Wristlet and realized how nice and easy it was to carry around and not worry about it getting dirty. I always thought the canvas stuff from any brand was silly [emoji23] Changed my tune! I still prefer pebbled leather though [emoji173]️
I totally agree! I have a reversible tote in a printed coated canvas (not the CC's), and it's so durable! I run into walls, toss it in the back of my trunk with a junky snow shovel near it, etc., and I just have to wipe it down for it to be clean. That's the main draw of this bag... My reversible tote is too large for the weekends when I want to carry more, so the cinched in sides here look a little more compact?

But the only real video I can find on it has the drawstrings looking really weird and stiff?

Not sure if this has been addressed here, but I saw these Rogues in my outlet store a week or so ago (and so people aren’t disappointed) the Rogue totes in the gray/oxblood colors all had the “F” in the patch after the hyphen, indicating MFF. (Even tho they were in the retail section all sneaky-like, I wasn’t fooled, lol). The leather felt ok, and $150 is a good price on today’s sale, but I wanted to give a heads-up if you see it!

Also with the Rogue shoulder bags, I agree on the “feel” of them being similar to crossgrain, with a fairly firm structure. Even though the appearance is similar to a mini pebble more so than the actual “crisscross” look of the crossgrain... so if “caviar” is the term I guess that’s what it is now!

The strap on the grey is not removable, I've seen it in person. It is partially chain-like, but not removable. I wanted the grey until I saw it is a cross-grain type leather. I think they are calling it "caviar".
I've seen the grain leather in the boutique on the FP shoulder bag and didn't hate it. It didn't feel as bad as their cross grain does, but definitely more saffiano like vs glovetanned. If it's the same as the FP I'll be happy. I'm 90% sure it's too small for me, but didn't want to regret not buying if it sold out.

Zooming in on the pic what looked like a dogleash clip is part of the C chain. Another check in the con column

The leather on my FP rogue tote isn't my favorite - It's glove calf and nothing special. I love it (black w/link detailing) purely for the esthetic. It's also really comfortable on my shoulder and I can fit a ton in there. I haven't bought and kept another one yet because of the leather feel, but for the price on FOS I am happy to add another to my collection :)

I bet after a bit the side ties would relax a bit and lay down. I have a small MFF derby crossbody bag that has the similar ties on the sides and they looked bad when I first got it. But after only a few uses and using the ties to open and un-cinch the bag they look fine and drop down. The key is to just work them and play with them a bit to break in the leather [emoji1]

I hear ya - I had a FP Rogue link tote and returned it because the leather was too touchy/sensitive to scratches for a tote. It even arrived to me with a little rub/scratch mark on it from the hangtag rubbing against it! I got it at a discount, but couldn't deal with the obvious scratches on the huge piece of leather. For less than $150, I would have liked the oxblood or even a black tote if they had one, but I missed out on the sale today because work (boo).

My link duffle didn't seem to have the same issue as the link Rogue - the leather softened up almost right away and hasn't gotten too many noticeable marks, so not all glovetanned leather is created equal!

Love the duffles! I was told the totes are something called glove calf, not sure the difference in expert terms, but feel wise is night and day when comparing glovetanned to glove calf.

I debated returning this one as well- was a Christmas surprise from DH but I'm glad I kept it! Once I styled it I realized how much I love it :) a steal at 70% off (I think it was only 50% off in December)
Thank you! You look great! I could never pull off your whole outfit.. I could do the clothes but I can never find the perfect shade of nude heels for me. Lol! I might just have to find me some olive heels instead.

I actually do like Coach's coated canvas! I have the ocelot Ruby which is CC. It's easy to keep it clean and it's light weight. I just want more prints and not signature.

Does anyone have this or have you seen it in person? I want to know how this "crinkle metallic leather" is. I am looking at it for my mama.

Hi, I have seen it and actually bought it last time I went to the outlet. I actually liked it a lot so I bought the rose gold for me and the gold for my sister. They did not have any of the silver.

Here's a close up of mine in rose gold, so you can see the texture. Sorry the pic is so big but I thought it would be more useful that way. It's very smooth to the touch. btw, the color doesn't show quite right in the pic because of the light.
