Yes, unfortunately that is true. The foil finish on the full price market tote does rub off as well. The black shows thru where damage happens. Sad because it is so pretty.

It depends on where you live. They often take 3 or 4 days to send shipping confirmation. Sometimes it comes sooner; sometimes the same day. It seems to be quicker if you only order one item. For me, on the west coast, it usually takes 10 days before I receive my item. People in the east get theirs in a few days.
It is if you want it, the outlets sold out quickly near me. SA said they may get more in after online sale.
I have the accordion wallet and love it.Not sure how I feel about the tote. ( I purchased pair and the wallet was 79.00 and tote was 99.00 with tiered coupon.)
It is very silver foil looking like 80"s future wear and very shiny/ bright in daylight.
Also the SA said it is foil laid over the leather so it may rub off in spots with wear. Haven't used my wallet long enough to see this, but there were some wallets at the outlet with white smudge where the foil finish rubbed off.
I struggled to get the soft wallet into my shopping cart. Now I'm not so sure I'm going to check out. With shipping and tax it is over $90. I don't want to spend that much if it isn't going to last. My metallic saffiano soft wallet has lasted years without a sign of wear, as has the oil slick phone case I got from Henri Bendel.
I ordered this morning, but am also worried it won't last. I've never had a soft wallet & they look like a good size for me & like the hologram. Oh, well. We'll see.
I really love my soft wallet. It holds everything I need and it fits easier into my smaller bags than my accordion wallets. Since I got my soft wallet, I haven't switched out of it. I've had it for 2 years.
I decided to pass on the hologram.
The shipping is killer. It pretty much negates any great deal unless it's a higher priced bag. I wanted the Mini Ruby Purple Iris but with tax and shipping, it's cheaper to buy on eBay.
That said, I have the holo soft wallet and love it. I think mine was $66 plus tax in store. They are the hardest of the hologram collection to find in store though, and sell for as much as the accordion zip wallets in holo on eBay. I do think they scratch easily though. My wristlet has a few marks on it.
I agree. Love the soft wallets! So light and compact and still fit a great amount. No fussing with zippers either!
I just ordered the Ava pebbled leather tote in black on FOS. With the additional 20% off this was a really good deal. This will be my first MFF bag. Normally I buy the FP deletes at the outlet but this Ava caught my eye.
