I quote the TOS:

Be nice, treat fellow forum members with respect. Do not call names. Should you disagree with someone else's opinion, settle the argument maturely. Attacks on other members will not be tolerated. Only one registered nickname per user Additional active nicknames are not permitted and will be banned.

No one broke any rules here. No one called anyone names. No one is acting "immaturely".

What I posted was from Vlad, not the tos. Peace.

I've also seen multiple posts that people hate the new legacy bags, period, but no one has called them out for it. It should be ok to have a dissenting opinion.

I see plenty of posts all over the entire forum not liking certain things... I've never seen anyone suggest "reporting" someone for not liking something. Wow. This has gotten quite ridiculous and immature. Not liking a style of bad is NOT a personal attack on a person and has no reason to be offensive.

I don't mean to add any fuel to this fire, but it probably would have been best to post dissenting opinions about the bag on a separate thread, rather than on a thread that the OP made stating how distraught she was about missing out on a bag. In effect, it might be taken as a questioning of why she would be sad because the bag is ugly.

Maybe if the thread was like, "I really love this bag... what do you guys think?" then opposing opinions would be welcome. But on a thread where it's basically, "I'm so sad that I missed out on this bag that I love!" and there are "omg that bag is so ugly" responses, someone may get offended in the process. Just my 2 cents.

You're not adding fuel. That's a valid and nicely put opinion that doesn't attack anyone. I find it ironic that I insult a BAG (with the disclaimer of not meaning any offense to anyone right up front) and in turn I'm called mean, offensive and someone launches a campaign to report me. So the only PERSONAL attack was on me.

I personally have no desire to continue the conversation since it took the turn that it did, and would be quite thrilled if everyone else could just drop it. I don't intend to comment further.

I hate legacy and I've said it all over the place. Last year I hated Sophia and the year before that I hated Sabrina. (Although now I like Sophia and have a couple.)

I have a good friend on tPF and we never agree on bags but we are still really good friends. I hate legacy and have told her so - she likes it and has bought some; she did the dance of joy when they deleted Kristin - I cried cause I love it. Still friends and we always kid each other about this.

They are just purses, it's not like anyone is making racial slurs or anything. Hardly anything to be reported.

AMEN !
We all like different things....thank God! or we'd all be walking around with the same purse :(

I know. And when I don't like something, I share my opinion (unless it is a reveal. That is mean.). Hell, I've said I do not like the new Legacy collection on the Fall Master Thread, which I'm sure everyone has probably taken a look at at one time or another, and no one has ever bitten my head off for it. I am not going to bite my tongue just because someone has never been told that someone else dislikes something that they enjoy. If they feel the need to complain about what I post, even though it was not a jab at them and not made to be directly offensive, then they truthfully need to reconsider being a member of a place like TPF and do some thought collecting. And if they can't do that, I invite them to go ahead and block me, because I am very vocal and I don't hold back.

This. :goodpost:

I honestly laughed out loud at the suggestion of reporting. Obviously, the mods don't find anything here violating the TOS, which is the "written contract" "signed" upon joining TPF, otherwise the posts would have been long deleted.

OMG, someone bid/won for $700 from a seller with ZERO feedback!

* pretends to ignore last 30 posts*

Last two times I bought something from someone with no feedback, the seller did not communicate and didn't send my items. I had no trouble getting a refund, but that's why I stay away from eBay. I hope this person has a good experience. That is a lot of money to lose.

Boyfriend bought a Lego Star Wars Millenium Falcon (lol, I know...) and they didn't send it. This was in the past week. When he filed a claim, eBay gave him his money back right away. Last time, the person said they were mailing it "tomorrow" after we had paid for the item a week before that. The item never came and a dispute was opened. The money was returned to the account in literally five minutes.
