Talk about resurrecting an old thread! LOL. I agree, the Legacy line will stand the test of time-- bags like the Ali and the Legacy Satchel will be cool forever. Signature bags will go in and out... but I love my signature and plan on enjoying it for a long time to come!

please don't bring up a 15 month old post!
I am not trying to stir the pot or anything, but what's wrong with bumping up an old thread? Sometimes it's fun to bring these things back. :shrugs:

Plus, I'd prefer that people bring threads back more often. For example, I see so many people post four different threads on the same topic. First thread: "Which one do I get?"; second thread: "Okay, here's what I am thinking..."; third thread: "Okay, I made my decision!"; and fourth/final thread: "Here it is!" Get what I am saying? All of those belong in one thread. Otherwise, the board gets really cluttered and unorganized. Obviously, that's not what happened here, but it just goes along with the topic at hand.

Just my thoughts...

seconding mokoni. i'm pretty sure we both don't mean to start trouble, but i don't see anything wrong. the interest is still there and the topic is still just as valid today as it was 15 months ago. that's why all these posts are archived & searchable right? if anything, imo, it'd be easier to search for things if they were all nicely consolidated. :confused1:

You know, I must say that if I'd had the original thought that the Poppy line looks like a maxithins box (funny, a sense of humor is a good thing:yes: ), I NEVER would have thought to myself, "Oh, I better search: Poppy looks like a maxi box" to make sure it hasn't been posted already. I don't get the hostility. Isn't this a conversational thread? Even if something has been said before, maybe you want to ask and get responses so as to converse. You can't do that when simply reading old threads. Now that's not to say there isn't a lot of information to be gained in old threads, but if you don't feel like answering/replying to a question/thought again, just don't and move to another area of interest. Allow those who wish to "talk" to do so...
One exception, do NOT enter a blog and ask if you think the losties are in purgatory b/c you will get lambasted. hee hee

I think every brand has lines that are beautiful and classically styled and others that are trendy and probably won't be as appreciated in a few years. So it is with Coach, too. They would lose a significant portion of their customer base if they ONLY made bags that fit in one category or the other.

I think the Legacy bags are classics. There are others I'm not as fond of and that I don't think will age as well!

Will Coach be chic forever - YOU BETCHA!!! Every designer will always produce a line of fun, trendy pieces as well as their "signature line" that will stand the test of time.

Coach definitely is one of those designers.
