Thanks a lot! Yes, I had a strange feeling about this one ... ;) Although I would like this style, what a pity it doesn't really exist! And I think my second Falabella (following the black one) should either be a light or a very bright colour.
They do make a similar style flap top closure Falabella in a very small size that’s a crossbody and a larger one that’s not crossbody. My only warning with buying a lighter color Falabella is you have to be careful about color transfer. I’ve seen minis completely ruined from ppl who wore jeans with them. I’d opt for a brighter color one. They make coral and hot pink ones that are less risky. I have 2 light gray Falabellas which I love the color of and haven’t had any color transfer issues with. However I don’t carry the mini one crossbody for that reason. Just something to keep in mind. Falabellas are definitely addicting! Feel free to post any you might be unsure of here and I’ll help. Good luck!

I bought this from farfetch, so it should be okay but i'm still a little worried because the tag in the inside pocket is a black colour with silver writing. Have they changed it recently? My wallets from previous seasons (2019, 2017) have white tags. IMG_20210927_163011.jpgIMG_20210927_161319.jpg

I also noticed that the zips have a 5 at the front and "I" on either side. Its on my 2019 wallet and the zips on this bag. My 2017 wallet has "I" on rather side of the zip (as well as the YKK on both sides) and a 3Y I think on the front. The only other thing aside from that is the links between the zip and the round stella tags have a noticeable joint (but have been coated so they don't open up) on this bag but not on the wallets. Again it could just be a slight change at manufacturer but I'm wondering. I don't think the camera would pick up the difference. I'll try take a picture.

Veeery tiny detail. They look like they are open but they aren't there is some kind of metal coating over them to close them up, but the join is still more noticeable on these than my wallets (where I cant really tell where the join is)

Hi there!

I stumbled upon this Stella McCartney Falabella bag at a local garage sale where a stylish woman was selling some high end bags and shoes. I resell on Poshmark and when I sent this to them to authenticate, they sent it back to me, commenting that they could not guarantee authenticity. This looks and feels lux to me. I’m happy to provide additional photos if needed. Was hoping a moderator could weigh in for me!

Thank you!
Renee

Hi! Farfetch is great and has a large selection of Falabellas! You are correct and SM now uses black date code tags in their bags. Farfetch sources from boutiques all over Europe and the US. That’s why sometimes the same bag is listed twice with 2 different prices. It’s a gorgeous Falabella and now you can enjoy it without worry! Hope that helps!

Hi! I’m not a professional authenticator but have a lot of knowledge about Falabellas since I’ve bought and sold numerous bags. I’m very disappointed that Poshmark wasn’t able to conclusively realize this bag is not authentic. That’s very concerning since I too buy on Poshmark! As for this bag, the lining material is wrong and the side of the zipper isn’t marked YKK. There are other things I noticed too but those were the most obvious. I hope you didn’t pay much for this. Hope this helps. It’s always nice to find a gem at a garage sale but unfortunately this one isn’t. Feel free to post any other SM Falabellas you might come across and I’ll gladly help.

I wouldn’t worry about this. I just checked my mini out of curiosity and don’t see an opening but I’m sure some of my other bags have the opening too. As long as it doesn’t seem like it’ll fall off then it’s fine. Just my opinion. You bought from a very reputable seller. May I ask was this on sale? Only because sometimes they have great sales but lately I haven’t seen any except on card holders. Thanks!

It wasn't on sale. Its apparently new season but on the official Stella website they only have this style in a mini and a maxi tote, not the 2 handle "small" tote. This one came from a boutique in Italy. I feel relieved to know that Stella now uses black date tags though. Puts my mind completely at ease. Thank you!

Its very heavy (in a good luxe way) so it definitely feels like the real deal.

Also here in Japan the prices on the official website are a LOT higher than from abroad which is why I bought it on farfetch.

Thank you so much for taking the time to weigh in and look at my bag! I really appreciate it!

I hope I am doing this request for authentication right--I am a Luddite!.

I found this bag in a resale shop and want to re-sell it. I listed it on ebay because it looks authentic to me, but am I wrong? I am not a con artist, so I don't want to list it if not real. I had to replace the inside zipper so that is not original and has no Stella zipper pull, and I of course divulged that in the listing. I cannot locate a serial number, but I don't know how to find it. It does not have any white tag in it.

@Jteach7 what do you think of this one? There is no tag in it, so I am unsure!

Hi there! Unfortunately this bag isn’t authentic. I can tell by the lining which should be more of a nylon material. The chains are also incorrect. I wish I had better news for you.

Hello, I am looking at this listing on Depop and wondered if someone could please tell me if it is authentic? Link here and pictures below. Thanks so much in advance! https://depop.app.link/dn6icmv5gkb
