Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any pictures (all authentication must include pictures).



  • Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.
  • Please note that comments on price and condition are NOT permitted.
  • Please limit your request to one (1) per post; otherwise it gets too confusing keeping them all straight.
  • Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests must be posted in this thread.
  • To ensure that additional pictures requested are seen by the authenticators, please utilize the quote feature or provide a link to your original request and response. Failure to do so may result in your query not being answered.
Should one of your items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity.

This doesn't look right to me - the lettering and engraving looks wrong, I don't think that interior Made in Tag tag was used for this line (admittedly did not keep up with the Pretty Nylon collection), and unless something weird is going on with your photo, it doesn't look like the clip on the long strap has a MBMJ engraving. Can you post a photo of the interior label?

Photos can be misleading so maybe it would be easier for you to compare it to this.

authentic from the photos shown. in case you didn't notice, though, it's listed as NWT but there is corner wear in the third photo up from the bottom. since the tag isn't attached and the wear isn't disclosed, i would personally be concerned that it isn't NWT.

i'm not sure all the photos are of the same stam, either. the first five are photographed in a different style, and the sixth pic is an unnecessary double of the interior that's a different size than the rest of the photos. obviously that's just speculation, but in combination with not disclosing the wear, the listing looks dishonest to me.

ah, what do you mean by different size? Everything after the 6th picture are pictures that I have requested in the last few days - maybe that is the case with the 6th picture as well. Someone else requested it? I also was concerned about the corner wear but thought that maybe it was just the way the picture was taken since the ones I requested are not great quality to begin with.

I meant the dimensions of the photo itself are different - it's rectangular and the others are square. i was just thinking out loud.

it looks like typical corner rubbing for a black stam to me. if it was you who bought it and it is, black edgepaint should cover it.

Oh okay! Yeah, I wasn't sure if you meant the size of the bag or the picture but thanks for clarifying. I did end up buying it. I figured it if appeared not to be new Tradesy's return policy covers that so I might as well just get it in my hands and decide then. Also, they only give you 4 days from delivery and I needed to order this weekend to get it before going out of town which would have eaten up my whole return time period. So I'll see once I get it what the verdict is.

Also, what is edge paint? Is it specifically for handbags?
