There are many different shades of hardware used on MJ bags. Yours looks the same to me as in the stock photos

Where did you purchase it? I would be shocked if anyone is bothering to make 1:1 replicas of MJ bags these days.

In my country we're not really familiar using ebay, shopbop, etc and instead there are many good and trusted online shops that provide po for authentic stuff froam abroad. In my case, the online shop i purchased this bag was purchased it from Hongkong not US or UK, and the price it offered also below the US and UK one but still reasonable. I didn't think twice and just ordered it right away, not even check their testimonial or else but after that, I stumbled upon other online shops which offered a 1:1 bag that cost quite expensive for a fake one, and the picture they display also quite similiar to the real one too. Well, i don't know if it's their real picture of their fake bag or they just pick it randomly from other site. Well, this makes me more careful to pick online shop in the future. Thank you for enlightening me! I'm very relieved now :)

I'm not sure I follow your post. You found a site that has a 1:1 of this particular bag or just designer bags in general?

Authenticating isn't an exact science since you're only going off of photos. I don't see any red flags on your bag, but it would never hurt to research where your bag actually came from.

I'm sorry if my explanation isn't clear since english isn't my first language.

The shop i bought my bag and the shop which sell the 1:1 was two different site. The 1:1 site only sell the 1:1 for this particular bag. Few days after i received my package I stumbled upon the 1:1 site, I started to compare their 1:1 bag's picture with my bag and i was afraid if mine isn't authentic since they're really similiar. But come to think of it, maybe it's just because i never own MJ bag before and not really used to the chain's weight and color which very different from my coach, michael kors, or kate spade.

My first post! I have read a lot in the thread and would be so, so thankful for help with this Marc by Marc Jacobs New Q Small legend! I got it today and i really hope it's authentic.
