Hi,

I'm note sure if this is the correct place to do this. But I'm trying to find out if a Marc Jacobs bag I have is real or not?

It was given to me by a relative years ago (closer relative who loves her luxury bags) - but it wasn't in a MJ dustbag or anything.

After researching online and going through the Marc Jacobs threads, I'm starting to think it might be fake.

There are no tags in the bag, the inside zipper pull doesn't have any logo/stamping, all of the clasps have Marc Jacobs stamped and the metal plate.

This style was made, its the Selma totw, but I have never seen it in that color combo. On occasion, Marc Jacobs has uses ykk zippers instead of lamp or riri. If you look closely at the side of the lil metal 'c' shaped piece of metal that holds the zipperpull to the zipper head, it may be marked ykk. My gut is saying fake based on the color alone. I've owned two of the Selma styles previously.
