Hello again faith_ann,

I already received my bag today (YAY!!!) and my gut tells
me it is authentic, because it feels absolutely high quality and nothing like I would expect a fake bag to feel. But still I want to be sure, so here are pics of the front and back of the tag... Thank you so much in advance!!!

Dear authenticators,

Please could you look at this Marc by Marc Jacobs hand bags on eBay UK site and let me know your comments. I am particularly worried about the nut shaped metal fasting at the bottom of the handles. They do not have the usual Marc Jacobs engraving on it but the four round base studs on the photos at the base of the bag has the Marc Jacobs writing!
I bought the bag but haven't collected it yet. If it is not genuine it will save me a lot of trouble.

hi and welcome to TPF! a photo of the made in tag will confirm, but this looks good so far. t's an early season version of that style

in the future, please provide a direct link to the listing. many people post from the phone app and copying and pasting can be difficult.

i also wanted to address the bolded. perhaps i'm misreading, but i interpreted that as, if the bag was not authentic, you would have refused the package. just so you know, refusing a package voids your buyer protection on ebay - in other words, the seller could have sent you a box of rocks but if you refuse the package, the seller is under no obligation to refund your money and ebay will not back you. you would need to accept the item and then request a return through ebay.

maybe that's not what you meant, but just in case you did :smile1:

Please below find a link as suggested. Sorry, I was not able to do this from my ipad. Ended up emailing this to myself to copy it. ipad would just display "eBay" for some reason this is why I listed the item number. Sorry didn't know much about using the phone apps.

I arranged to have it collected. If it is a fake I was going to cancel the pick up. It didn't make spence to pay for something that is worthless. Thank you for informing me of the eBay policy. I didn't know about it either. Guess I will get it collected and post a photo of the made in tag.

^ to authenticate that groove bag we need pictures of the ykk stamp on the zipper pull/zipperhead, as well as made in XXX tag and a better picture of the interior plate/hardware marked Marc Jacobs. If it is real, its from the first season of Dr. Groovee bags.
