Hi ladies,
I really need a second opinion on the Cartier jewelry i purchased from a friend...this is a very good friend of mine so i trusted her and purchased from her however because i didnt get these items at the boutique, and i did research on the hallmarks and serial numbers, im starting to doubt its authenticity.

Specific concerns i have relate to the font of the cartier logo, the inside of the screws that open the bracelet and the serial number.

I didn't receive any paper work from cartier because my friend said her dad is the distributor for cartier and sold these to me at a discount from retail prices.

If these items are not authentic, i dont even know how to go about getting my money back....i paid her through e transfer because i trust her...and we are talking about big ticket items here...

It's been bothering me for weeks and i still haven't worn the jewelry yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm far from being an expert or authenticator, But I would assume that the GP stands for Gold Plated? If not it's the maker's hallmark. Your best bet is to go to a jeweler and have it tested.
