I bought a VCA necklace from ebay that turned out to be a super fake (real 18k gold, real diamond). Is there any point of posting the pics so we can all learn form this experience? I notice the ebay seller has sold several VCA items - no doubt fakes too.

Is there a name and shame thread?

Do you mean same style ring? There are 2 different serial numbers, so 2 individual rings. Which were you looking at?

Interesting. I've not seen the toggle with the Tiffany cartouche, which looks fine. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just means be cautious

If you have good proof (as in confirmed fake), by all means share, everyone is here to learn, and it would be helpful to everyone. Yes, when big bucks are involved, the fakers go to great lengths to separate us from our money!

Do you mean same style ring? There are 2 different serial numbers, so 2 individual rings. Which were you looking at?

The first serial #. The second one was just another, same style ring I saw listed online as well. I trust that second one more and the fact that it seemed a little off from the first bunch of photos made me question the authenticity.
