Currently we do not have an Hermes authenticator, you'll need to use a paid service.
Please do not ask in off topic threads for opinions or start new threads. Thanks!

Please note there is no chatting allowed on this thread.

All authenticators are volunteers and may choose to answer posts or not as they individually see fit. For guidelines on what/how to post look at the beginning of this thread.

If you find your post ignored it may be for any reason

'bumping', 'begging' or have a hissy fit will not help
'Barking' when others try to help you will not help
Playing the 'unfair' card will not help.

If reg. members see a post that does not qualify for help you are of course free to prompt the poster (or ignore) but do not get drawn into an argument.

If you find posters rude or breaking tPF rules please report.

Dropped the hold on the bag I was looking at. Wasn't ready to pull the trigger. Found one appears exactly the same listed on eBay now. Still considering it. Might someone be able to authenticate?

Not sure if this has been said before but I’d prefer members remove Ebay links and details re: Ebay sellers and only posts photos of the bags/items needing authentication. It would help to alleviate fears a member/buyer might have regarding conflict of interest and ensure an impartial authentication of the item in question.

As the way we need to authenticate doesn’t work for you, please use a paid service for your authentications. Thanks.

Thanks but I do not use the site for this purpose. I enjoy it for endearing and often funny comments (“slippery slope” is a fav) which reflect our deeply shared love of Hermès craftsmanship.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum but looking for some help getting some authentication advise on a Hermes Birkin that was "lost" by a consignment shop. They are attempting to now state the purse may not have been authentic after they "lost" it or it was stolen. We are trying to mediate a settlement and I am looking for some advise on this bag prior to paying a site for a written agreement. My husband took the pictures for insurance purposes and we did not unfortunately have any of the stamp. When we dropped it off they showed us the stamp "K" for 2007 and accepted the bag on consignment. Any indisputable signs based on hardware, logo, lock/key, etc that this bag is real?

I’m sorry but we only authenticate currently for sale items.
