All authenticators are volunteers and may choose to answer posts or not as they individually see fit. For guidelines on what/how to post look at the beginning of this thread.

If you find your post ignored it may be for any reason

'bumping', 'begging' or have a hissy fit will not help
'Barking' when others try to help you will not help
Playing the 'unfair' card will not help.

If reg. members see a post that does not qualify for help you are of course free to prompt the poster (or ignore) but do not get drawn into an argument.

If you find posters rude or breaking tPF rules please report.

I am a new member, though I have read many posts before. I am considering this bag, please see below. Please advice if you think it is authentic. Also, if you have any experience about InstantLuxe.com's process (if it can be trusted or not), please share. I am super thankful!!

Comments: Is it weird that on the gold hardware (the closure), the words Hermès and Paris stamped on top of each other instead of side by side? Is the gold stamp on the leather "Hermès Paris Made in France" too close to the stitching? Does it really say "C" in a circle on the flap? Should it be more centered?

Hi,
I am a newbie to this forum and was wondering whether authenticator can tell it's real deal. This is my first Hermes bag and I can't afford to buy a brand new one.
Can anyone give me any suggestions for getting a vintage Kelly bag? I am not sure this bag is really worth of the price tag (USD $7999). Do you guys think the box leather is not a good choice as a first Hermes Bag? Otherwise, is it better to pay so much premium for a brand new one from reseller?

I am not an authenticator and I am not making a comment on this specific bag at all. But I do have a suggestion - it sounds as if you are very new to Hermes. If I were you, I would look at the threads in the Reference section. - there is a wealth of info there, including threads about info on your first bag and info on the various leather types, bag sizes, etc. At minimum you need to understand the qualities of box leather before you think about buying this bag.

I saw on another thread that you jumped at a Chanel bag and may be having buyer's remorse - I would avoid that at all costs with an H bag. The price point of H is high and you want to be happy with your purchase, so I suggests spending time researching before you buy.

I didn’t know that there is a thread on first bag. I know that there are tons of thread on H bag! I will do my homework first!
