Currently we do not have an Hermes authenticator, you'll need to use a paid service.

All authenticators are volunteers and may choose to answer posts or not as they individually see fit. For guidelines on what/how to post look at the beginning of this thread.

If you find your post ignored it may be for any reason

'bumping', 'begging' or have a hissy fit will not help
'Barking' when others try to help you will not help
Playing the 'unfair' card will not help.

If reg. members see a post that does not qualify for help you are of course free to prompt the poster (or ignore) but do not get drawn into an argument.

If you find posters rude or breaking tPF rules please report.

Hi all! I just purchased a vintage Kelly and would appreciate if someone could authenticate the bag:

Item: Hermes Kelly 32 cm handbag in black Fjord leather
Listing number: 342570
Seller: Collector Square

Comments: I own authentic Hermes bags so I am pretty confident that this is authentic but the previous owner suggested she doubted the bag’s authenticity (without verifying first) and so because she doubted she felt safer just sending Fashionphile the bag back. Every item I’ve ever purchased from the company (not Hermes) has been authentic and sent to the brand’s spa. Since this is a big claim and I’m a worrywart I thought I’d check with you ladies here first re: this vintage Kelly. I tried to set this up as closely to what you ask for as possible but what would you like me to do differently? I understand this is a favor from the members here but please, this is so frustrating. Explain what to change or include that I already haven’t in order to get my question answered.
