Please request a clear and flash-free close-up of the serial nr. and straight on shots of the hardware on both sides of the bag (where CHANEL is engraved).
Not seeing anything of concern so far, though.
When posting back with new pictures, or info, please remember to quote your initial request/previous posts, so we have all pertinent info pertaining to your item contained in one post![]()
Hi thanks for the response!
I have requested more pictures with the above.
However, I also sent in an authentication request to Lollipuff and they responded with the following:
We regrettably confirm that this item is considered a counterfeit Chanel. The hardware color on this boy bag is not as expected for its style. The silver should have a grayish tone for the Cruise 2015 style.
While we were able to review this item, most of the time, we need higher-series Chanel boys and classic flaps to accompany their serial card at a minimum. These bags are highly super-faked, and these items need to be scrupulously reviewed. Also, when a higher-series boy or classic flap is being re-sold, it is MUCH harder to sell if the serial card is no longer with it. A lot of people want to see this aspect due to the counterfeit issues that accompany these types of bags.
For reference, the bag can be found here: https://www.lollipuff.com/blog/295/...ection-handbag-bag-size-price-reference-guide
Does this mean the bag is not authentic?
Thanks again for the help!
