My Rocco has the sms stamp on the leather tag and a spot where the MIC tag was clearly cut out. My Eugene also has the sms stamp and a MIC tag that says "sample' on the back, slightly larger than the usual MIC tag. Boxermom, do you have any idea what else the sms might mean? So nice to have you authenticating for AW !:D

I have no idea why your MIC tag is missing, but the only time I've seen them cut out is when a seller is trying to hide one of AW's signature details.

I can't discuss anymore details on this forum because it helps the counterfeiters.

No red flags, ask for a photo of interior lining, badge, and made in China tag/or interior piping.

It is not unusual for AW to change one small detail each season, and it's not always every bag produced in that year. The year AW first produced leopard diego, the MIC font was different from all the other bags in that year, and they never used that font again.:shrugs:

Something else that occurred to me...the bag's zipper may have been replaced due to repair. If you purchased it second hand, it's very possible someone bought the bag damaged and repaired it for resale.
