A good way to really Authenticate the Donna Hobo bag is first by the Zipper wang uses
trade mark zipper the ends are not not fully square, his Zippers are angled at the edges
and of course always ask for a picture of the MIC tag placed within the inner linning.
Unfortunately this bag has been replicated and made widely available

Hello, I was wondering if I could ask for your ladies help. I am looking at purchasing this Rocco, I've never bought a bag used before. So I am super sceptical, but I love the colour and the hardware. I have asked for pic of the MIC tag and will get it tonight but just wanted your intial input of the bag if it is real or not, and also the wear. Seller got it form the sample sale and says shes only worn it a few times. Thank you for your help.

There are no red flags, but at least a picture of the MIC tag is needed to confirm authenticity.

As for the wear, I cannot comment. It looks good in pictures, but you have to rely on the seller's honesty regarding the wear, because defects can be easily hidden.

Seller says she can't locate it. I know it's tucked in with interior piping, but could you maybe tell me is it at bottom, top, side? Left or right side so she can find it? I told her to use a flashlight, but not sure where to tell her to look. TIA

It could be to the left of the designer tag as you look at it, but it is not always the case.

Hi can you please help authenticate? I'm quite sure the bag's fine but I can't find a mic tag. I have four other AW bags so I know what I'm looking for, but no tag that I can find. On my other Rocco and on my Rockie the tag is the lower left hand side of the piping if you're sitting with the inside leather patch facing you. I've gone all around the piping, no tag. It's a salesman's sample. Please have a look at the photos. It's a gorgeous bag, the colour's off in some of the pics but it's that beautiful beet colour. TIA!

All the details look good. I am surprised, though that there is no MIC tag. I remember that I saw other sample bags with MIC tags. The difference was that the tag also had "sample" written on it.

Thanks, I think it's possible that the tag has been cut out, see pics I've attached of the part of the piping that the mic tag is usually on. The seller has said that sometimes the SMS bags have "not for resale" on the mic tag so it may have been removed for that reason. Comments?
