Hi everyone
Please help me verify if this rocco bag is authentic?
It does not have shoulder strap and seller told me she could not find the MIC tag - is this definitely a fake?
I have upload pictures on dropbox please see link below:

TIA!

Hi, there is something that doesn't look right to me.

A pic of the MIC tag would be needed to confirm if the bag is authentic or not. The tag can be found hidden in the inside piping. A flashlight could help locate it.

Thank you so much for your reply Skittle!
After 30mins of explaining what is a MIC tag the seller finally found it inside the piping.
Can you help me check please?

Unfortunately this bag is not an authentic Alexander Wang bag.

Thank you for your reply Skittle!
May I ask how do we spot the fake by looking at the MIC tag?

The seller told me she bought it 7-8 years ago with on pedder and said she would try to find proof and sent me more pictures. I am rather disappointed :(

It's not only the MIC tag. You can see it is fake just looking at how it is made, but I wanted to confirm in case it was the angle of the camera or something. I don't want to accuse somebody of selling a fake bag, unless I am 100% sure of it.

If you had an authentic Rocco I think that you could easily spot the differences. We cannot discuss the details, because it would help counterfeiters. If you are curious you can read the posts at the beginning of this thread (and maybe the last few pages) to see how an authentic Rocco should look like.

Receipts can be easily faked, and they aren't proof. I am not sure that I understand where the seller claims she bought it from, though.

I think she meant http://onpedder.com/
And I also showed her about how the real rocco should look like - she replied that her bag is the very first generation from 8 years ago so the labels and lining could be different. She is 100% sure the bag is authentic. I'm so bummed now knowing she is lying :(

Thanks a lot Skittle, I will keep reading.

While the first generation of AW Roccos were somehow different, they were not like this one. This is a classic example of a counterfeit Rocco.

I wouldn't recommend buying such an old Rocco, anyway. They aree known to have piping issues.
