Oh i totally see the difference! Thank you for pointing that out, I really would have never known! Thats crazy how observant you are :) Also, I confronted the seller about my concerns and she said:

"Hi, I have two of the same bags, they are identical in style and size. I did not notice a difference in pebbling of the inside zipper pocket. My bags are older models...I always stuff the bags for photos so you can see the shape. I notice online when celebs wear this bag it is very limp and slouchy. I never deal with replicas, I hate fakes! I'm glad you like the bag. I love this bag. I had two for sale and I own various wang bags"

So I really hope shes being honest with me, but still wish I received the bag in her photo since it looks nicer :(

The older bags are slouchier compared to the newer version. The newer rocco leather is stiff. Also, I think the small pebbles means thinner leather. JMHO.;)

I'm extremely picky about my pebbles, and since I've been authenticating, I know many sellers recycle photos from one bag. I've learned to ask sellers if the bag for sale is the bag in the photos.
IMO, sellers should photograph each bag because the pebbles are unique to each bag. It's not a good idea to use recycled photos when selling used bags. The seller needs to disclose the condition of every used bag, because they all wear differently. It's dishonest, and leaves the seller open to SNAD case.
Based on the photos you posted of the bag you received, the bag is authentic.

Boxermomof2 : Turned out the bag itself was from NAP, but not the strap. It broke and she had to replace it, buying fake. I wish she had told me about that... I emailed AW to purchase a strap but they replied with an almost automatic response telling me everything is on the website...

Does anyone Know where/how to purchase a strap ? Has anyone experienced this?

Or anyone having an extra strap with brass hardware ? ;)

I must be the only girl with a bag nor real nor fake.

You should be able to contact NAP. From what I read from others this has happen to, you will have to send the bag back to the retailer (NAP), and they will forward it on to AW.
I hope she is not lying and the bag is real too. Sorry, but it sound too fishy to me. Too many sellers pull this sort of bait and switch. It's extremely dishonest and if she is telling the truth, purchasing a fake to replace the strap, that is illegal. Either way, I wouldn't trust this seller...friend or not.

If you send the bag back through NAP, and the bag is fake, AW has the right to destroy it.

No red flags, but I need to see the made in China tag for both.
Also, a side view of the black/brass clip.

hi! Anyone knows if they make fake Wang bags yet? How do I know if this is real?

Pictures that can help us authenticate are:

- Close up of the 'Made In China' tag (aka MIC tag)
- Studs
- dust cover
- Inner AW patch/ badge
- AW Hang tag
- A shot of the bag fully expanded
- frontal and side views
They do make fake AW bags. I googled it because I wanted to know the difference in case I purchased one from ebay.

Is this Alexander Wang Rockie bag authentic ?

No red flags, but would need to see a photo of the made in China tag/interior piping.
Thank you for your feedback.
As you can see on the picture, the studs have four "rings". The bags I have seen in the shops, have only two rings on the studs. Do they come in different studs? I will ask the seller for picture of the made made in China tag.

Yes, AW produced different style studs. We call this one a triple ring (my favorite stud) because it has three engraved rings.
