I purchased this bag and will check the MIC tag when I get it, but can anyone authenticate in the meantime? I spent a good amount of time looking at Brendas, and the hardware, piping etc. seems to check out, as does the seller's history (mostly AW, but all in the same size, gently worn, etc. as though she knows someone at AW).

If I were bidding.... I would ask to see photos of the bag on both sides to get a good idea of the leather's texture and condition. Some AW pebbled bags can have smooth/thin areas. I've returned a few pebbled bags because I was unhappy with the leather's texture. The pebbles make the bag. ;)
Make sure you ask the seller if the bag has any scratches. The description says it was carried once, but that doesn't always mean it is without defects.

This auction is not for the biker purse. It's the compact. The seller has a stock photo of a biker wallet and the actual photos are of the compact wallet.
Ask for a clear photo of the embossed Alexander Wang . The seller's photo show it from a side view, but I would like to see a clear photo straight on.

No red flags, but I would need to see the MIC tag and piping inside the bag.

Boxermomof2 Thank you so very much... That reveal really helped show the color although it is beautiful... I think I prefer black. I so appreciate all of your help. I had a black with brass sold it and am now longing for another one. This time I want the extra strap :graucho: Once again thank you for all of your time and expertise:smile1:

Hmm.. she guaranteed authenticity but claimed that she couldn't upload more photos because her computer isn't working at this time. I don't know whether to believe it or not! :push: I do really want this bag though. Would you risk it? The other items she has listed in the past do seem to be quite expensive designer labels..

That's a red flag for me. I'm not sure the seller owns any of the photos posted... I wouldn't bid. I looked through the seller's feedback and I do not see any high end designer items. There are a lot of fakes on Australia eBay.
