MightyJo,

Please remove your photos from the Photobucket. Someone is using your interior photos on eBay. :cursing:
I know, she had my permission.....I sold my first bag to a friend because I bought the one with the strap after that. I got a crazy deal on Ebay for that bag. She wanted to sell it to make a few bucks. I wound up with 3 bags (the 2 black ones from Ebay and a red one I bought at Barney's pre-sale last month). I had to get rid of one. I said she could use my interior shots because it's identlcal with the same white and black tags and MIC tag. I also told her to say it was authenticated by TPF because it was authenticated by you. :) I just removed the photobucket album. I didn't know people could steal pics. Geesh! Long story short....she didn't steal mine.....it's all legit.

There are a few threads about AW quality control issues and customer service.
They are not easy to deal with.
It sounds like you are very unhappy with the bag. I would return it to the seller for a refund.

I'm not unhappy with the bag I bought, I was just concerned that it was fake because of the zipper issue. I got a pretty good price on it. Also, I really don't want to go through this Ebay stuff again. It's exhausting! I think you're better off buying at a store. I am however going to call AW customer service on Monday and very nicely get into it with them. I'm just funny that way. That sort of stuff really bothers me! It was nice of the person at Revolve to just tell me the truth.

Well the interior photos did not match the style bag she had posted. Alexander Wang tweaks certain details each season.
I keep track of the photos used here and on eBay.
She needs to use her own photos. I did not authenticate that bag. I authenticated your bag with straps and a rose gold tone zipper.

Alexander Wang is not going to authenticate the bag for you over the phone. If you are truly concerned about the bag's authenticity, you can have it professionally authenticated by Fakespotters.

If you are uncomfortable buying from eBay it is best to purchase from a reputable retailer.
As we both know, photos are recycled on eBay and there is no guarantee you will receive the bag posted in the photos.
That is why Brag Braggart and I often ask for additional photos.

Geesh.....you are really on it!! That's great. I've told everyone about you guys. I will tell her to take her own pics of the inside. You did authenticate that bag. It was the one I bought on Ebay from the seller bri_mulley. I sent you the Ebay link for it at the time. It must be on this thread. I bought it for $600. I was the one who originally bought the fake bag from the UK. BTW.....I was totally refunded by the seller (shipping both ways too). I honestly don't think she knew it was fake. Like I said.... buying expensive designer stuff on Ebay is exhausting!!!! I don't know that I'll do it again.

To be honest, I didn't really know people recycled photos. I don't buy on Ebay that much. This has all been a huge learning experience for me. Does that site charge for authenticating it?

I went back to look at the listing. The bag your friend posted using your interior photos was a different bag.

Those are interior pics of the new bag I bought with the strap and darker zipper. I helped her w the listing. I honestly didn't think it was a big deal because the interior of the bags are identical. They both have the white AW tag and black hang tag and MIC tag. Even if she took new interior pics, they would look the same. Honest people on Ebay don't think the way you guys do. I'm not saying that you are wrong......I'm just saying that the crap that happens on Ebay doesn't even occur to people like me. These were the first expensive designer bags I have ever purchased on Ebay so I knew nothing about any of this stuff. I only found out about you because one of the listings I saw a while back said authenticated by TPF and I asked them what that meant. It's more my fault than hers. It never occured to me that indentical interior photos make a difference. The exterior pics are new. I will tell her to remove the interior pics and tell her to take new ones. Both bags were authenticated by you, so I didn't think it made a difference. I guess it does.

I just called my friend to tell her about all of this and she said the listing is not there. Did you guys remove it?

It would have been much easier to just wake up this morning, read your email and say "ok", but I am an honest person and don't have a lot of experience buying on Ebay. I never even sold anything on there. This is all very new to me, as my original posts to you indicate. It took me forever to even figure out how to get my emails to the right place on your site. I didn't even know what Photobucket was until you sent me the link. My friend will take new interior pics of the bag and replace them. What does she do to get the listing back on Ebay? I'm sorry about all of this, but if you read all of my emails, I think you can see that it was just an honest mistake.

We do not remove listings. I wish we could...eBay removed her listing. Your friend will need to call eBay.
OMG......what a pain in the arse! Hard to believe they removed it when it can be proven to have been authenticated already. Photo sharing (stealing) other peoples pics are one thing, but when it's the same person's pics of the same interior....I don't get it. I'll tell her to call them and also take new pics of the inside of the bag to post. Hopefully that will be ok. This was all my fault! I feel terrible!!! Thanks for all your help. I really do appreciate it. I hope you don't think badly of me because I think you guys are the best!!!! I really do tell everyone about your service. It's awesome!

I did not authenticate her bag. I authenticated your new rocco with strap. The auction had been pieced together from photos of different bags- and represented as one bag.

Someone at TPF helped me authenticate the fake UK Ebay link (I returned that bag). Then I bought the first gen (no strap) black/brass Rocco from Bri_mulley on Ebay which someone on TPF authenticated for me. Then I sent you guys this new bag with the strap which you gave a thumbs up to. TPF helped me with 3 bags which are the only ones I bought on Ebay. My spice bag I got at the Barney's pre-sale last month. Pictures aside, they must all be on this thread somewhere. Anyway....again, thanks for your help.:smile1:
