Can anyone provide some comments about size? I'm wondering if its similar to the Celine Micro or the YSL SDJ or the Coach regular Crosby maybe? Does it stand up without anything in it? It looks partially constructed but not sure what that means in the way of it holding it's shape? Love the leather on these and thanks for sharing. For some reason I am drawn to the mineral as I have too many black bags, chalk is too dangerous (would buy it at a lesser price point to enjoy), and I have 2 in the oxblood. Wish there were more colors but I do love the mineral. Had been wanting a Mercer in the eggplant as I love the color and the similar partitions to the Rogue, but the Rogue seems to be calling more. I need to go take a look at it! Thanks for sharing guys!!

Personally I was very happy with the size and the strap drop length. The leather is structured but I do see it softening up and think it would probably have some slouch after time. It does stand up on it's own. The mineral color is beautiful, I don't think you can go wrong there.

I think it's different when you only have one Rogue in front of you. In that I had two, I compared them and decided on the one I liked the most. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Friday. but yes, in addition to price, color transfer is a big concern for me, so I may pass on any chalk bag until I feel more comfortable.
Hi Anne,
My chalk Rogue arrived today, a day earlier than expected. I think you & I may still be bag twins. Chalk is packed up & will be returned tomorrow. I really expected to love the chalk. Somehow though, like you said, it was just not as luscious as the oxblood. I even got my oxblood out to see if I was sure & sure enough the oxblood just does something for me that the chalk doesn't. I can't explain it...it could be that the chalk leather isn't quite as.....something...because I even thought the chalk saddle was not as tempting as the oxblood & mineral. Anyway, I digress...my SA may be happy to see my return for once because she had her eye on the chalk. Sigh...

I hope we will be bag twins! Yes, I agree with you...it's something about the chalk one that didn't do it for me in that bag. I loved the chalk Outlaw. I think the slight sheen of the leather on the Outlaw helped the color. For the Rogue, I thought maybe it was due to the black trim, but, in that you had no problem with the black trim, maybe it's not that. I sent mine back today. When will you be getting your oxblood one? You've seen that one in person and you already know you're going to like it, right?

I saw the oxblood at my local store last week but it was on hold. When the customer changed her mind, I grabbed it up yesterday so she's in my closet with tags still on. Like you, I'm glad I had another to compare it to. Enjoy your bags...they all are wonderfully detailed.

Oh, I didn't realize you already had it. For some reason, I thought you were having your SA hold it for you. That makes sense you were actually comparing both purses. I thought you were comparing another one of your oxblood bags to the Rogue to compare the color only. I also sent my chalk Outlaw back a few days ago, but I'm waiting on the medium size one in the color saddle. It comes tomorrow. I hope I like it.

You might have your bag before I get mine lol! I am guessing the the measurements on Coach.com are accurate. I am fine with this since I don't like anything less than 13 inches in length. Also, once we see this bag in person I honestly think it won't be as shiny as it appears online.
Did you receive your Outlaw yet? I just got mine. I'm going to upload a couple pics in a second.

Outlaw style #38188. The measurements online are accurate: 15 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 7" (W). I'm not keeping it, though. Too much sheen to the leather for me.Also, the color provided on Coach.com for this bag is 1941 saddle, which I now realize is a different color saddle than the one I'm accustomed to. It's not the same color as my Nomad, which is the saddle color I prefer. Also, the interior suede is orange, which I don't mind at all on the Oxblood Rogue, but I don't care for it on the Outlaw. It's also not comfortable on my shoulder; one of the straps slip off. I liked the Outlaw 36 much better than this one. If I were a satchel person, I'd go for that style, but I'd rather have a purse I can wear crossbody as well as over my shoulder comfortably. Those are my thoughts, but I'm sure this purse will be total love for some.

My Outlaw was delivered to my friend yesterday but I won't be able to retrieve it until early next week. Hearing your thoughts makes me doubt it will be a keeper but I won't know until I try her on.
Those are just my thoughts. Also, in order for me to justify, in my mind, keeping two higher priced 1941 Coach bags I have to really love both of them. It's still a nice purse, just not for me. You may feel differently. I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

I believe I saw the chalk Rogue that you returned when I was at the store this afternoon, and you may have gotten the Oxblood one I had returned :) I ordered the ostrich Rogue today! Looking forward to seeing those colors in person!
