I'm not sure. Probably the price, but I also think I want a bag that's all chalk without the black trim. I'll have to sleep on it. I may have gotten too excited after I saw the one in oxblood. I may wake up tomorrow and change my mind again. However, another concern is the care for that color. I've never had a chalk bag, but I've always wanted one. Do you have any experience with that color? People have mentioned to watch out for color transfer. I really like being carefree with my purses. I don't toss them around in the car or anything, but I don't want to worry that I'm going to ruin a great bag. I also think I do still have some reservation about having two of the same bags at that price. If I'd gotten one on sale, I wouldn't mind as much. I don't appreciated the chalk as much because I already have the Oxblood. When I just had the oxblood, it was instant love. That being said I'm going to wait until Friday, after I've had a chance to look at the Outlaw that retails for $695 in saddle. If I like that one, I will definitely send the chalk Rogue back, but if I don't I may still keep the Rogue in chalk. The Outlaw is the only other purse I'm considering even though I'll give up the chalk color that I really want.

My oldest has a bag in Chalk.. looks great, but yeah she has some minor transfer on it... she only wears it occasionally and is now being more cautious on clothing choices to avoid anymore CT.

It's just a tradeoff with lighter color bags..

That's what I was afraid of. I'm very content with my oxblood Rogue. I would love to have a chalk purse but I'd probably feel better about it at a lower price point just in case something does happen to it.

Well, its possible that I'll be in the same boat. We'll see. Mine doesn't come till Friday. Like you, I've always wanted a light bag but have experienced color transfer in the past with lighter bags (never had a white bag). When ordering, I did express concern about that but figured that the option to carry higher with the shorter handles or on my shoulder with the longer handles, would allow it to sit on me in a place that would lessen that chance. I'm careful with my bags but I don't baby them. Personally, the black trim & saddle color interior are my favorite parts of the bag. Again, like you, sometimes you don't know till you have it in front of you and are able to carry it around, etc. Will let you know!
I think it's different when you only have one Rogue in front of you. In that I had two, I compared them and decided on the one I liked the most. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Friday. but yes, in addition to price, color transfer is a big concern for me, so I may pass on any chalk bag until I feel more comfortable.

As i said a trade off of having lighter colored bags, i know for myself i avoid them.. despite not really have clothes that do bleed, if a tag says that i am outta there lol.

Oxblood is awesome.. i think it marries neutrality with uncommon.. if that makes any sense.

Checked out the new rogue tonight. I snapped a pic of the mineral and oxblood. The oxblood has more of an orange suede interior and the mineral another other colors (except black) have more of a yellow suede. Black has black suede.

I really liked the size and style but I wasn't in love with any of the colors. Bummer for me but at least my wallet is safe......for now.

Gorgeous pic! That oxblood is calling me! I feel like I really need to see it in person first though. The price is pretty up there so I want to make sure it's absolute love.

Can anyone provide some comments about size? I'm wondering if its similar to the Celine Micro or the YSL SDJ or the Coach regular Crosby maybe? Does it stand up without anything in it? It looks partially constructed but not sure what that means in the way of it holding it's shape? Love the leather on these and thanks for sharing. For some reason I am drawn to the mineral as I have too many black bags, chalk is too dangerous (would buy it at a lesser price point to enjoy), and I have 2 in the oxblood. Wish there were more colors but I do love the mineral. Had been wanting a Mercer in the eggplant as I love the color and the similar partitions to the Rogue, but the Rogue seems to be calling more. I need to go take a look at it! Thanks for sharing guys!!

IMO the Coach Crosby is bigger because it has a wider opening and you can fit more. Yes. it stands nicely on its own. I had this bag - loved the style but didn't love the small size for me .

It does stand on it's own. I have the mineral and it's lovely. It holds a full size wallet, a makeup case, sunglass case, reading glasses, hand lotion, mints, my key case, phone, lipstick, gloss, compact, tissues.....and that's just in the zippered portion. There are two suede covered pockets, one on either side that you could put items in.
