I was cleaning up the zipper pull on a 1980s piece using blue magic metal polish. I also tried a sunshine cloth, but the blue metal polish is definitely better. I noticed, however, that a small part of the hardware has a pink sheen to it now. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to reverse it? I’m not certain I’m working with solid brass, but I think it’s more likely since it’s vintage.
