That's exactly how I approach my purchases. I'll 'invest' in a pricey bag if it fits my style & my tastes - but I'm NOT going to buy a bag just because it's listed as an "it" or ''collector's' item. I don't buy anything "pricey" unless I know for sure I really am going to use it & I'm not buying into some passing trend.
