As a white gold/platinum lover, I personally don't mix metals but wish I preferred yellow/rose gold. Why? Because white gold costs more and will always require re-plating at some point.

I want a small clash ring in WG for my pinky but would not be happy in the long run with the wear over time, and it's unclear whether Cartier will re-plate clash pieces due to all the intricate edges. I read somewhere on here that they won't but an SA told me they do.

Take a look at how the used white gold clash pieces on fashionphile, the real real, and 1stdibs have worn over time. The edges look yellowed. On the other hand, the yellow/rose gold ones still look great even with scratches.

Probably more than you want to know, but I would choose option B. Both options are beautiful though!

TBH, I am super disappointed and upset, will keep you guys posted after hearing back from Cartier.

Sorry to hear this @Navadety. It’s disappointing when you buy something and it isn’t right. What you describe about one earring feelings stiff is the same as my pair, which I considered returning as they were making one ear very sore from taking them off at night. I’ve decided to keep them as my ears have become more used to them but one earring remains much stiffer than the other. I’d be interested to hear what happens with your repair. I hope it works out for you. BW

YG is in the US. I tried it on last week. Looks great on but I already own the love and JUC. I wouldn't wear three together so I have to think on it.

I just requested to return the piece for the store credit. At first, they came back to me and told me HQ requested them to send the earrings for further investigation and might incur some cost then I insist this is not acceptable as I just got it for about 2 weeks. So I expected them to actually propose be either replace or return but tbh, I don't want to take any more risks with this design, so I requested for return. Later I might consider topping up for the small Baignoire watch in YG with strap (sadly the bangle version only has size up to 17 which is too small for me).

Are both photos showing the same size bracelet? The fit in the 1st looks fine, but the 2nd looks too big. I don't own a clash bracelet, but I would imagine a loose fitting one is more likely to catch on things. Maybe someone who has one can speak to that.
