CL Horatio getting Delics in 140mm

I personally would get 120. The 140s are just too much to walk in, and I'd rather have something that's a little more practical - my fuschias don't get a whole lot of wear as it is, since they're such a bright color and I can't really wear them to work, so I'd like to maximize the wear by making them a more comfortable height.

I rang the boutique back since they didn't ring me back...and asked what heel height they have reserved for me..she said 140..now reading what you have said i think your right.:nogood: 140 sounds too much...tom i shall be having my outing so will see what comes of this..:sweatdrop: I'm nervous going into this boutique.. when I call feel like they haven't the time for me..:sad:..

^^ Aww don't think like that. It is their job to help you. Don't be nervous. Although, I do prefer to only work with people I know, so I know the feeling.

I agree that you may want to start with the 120 first, but maybe that is just me.

^^ thanks jimmyshoogirl for you input :flowers: the 120 heel is that like 4'' heel and a 140 a 5 inch heel? These will be my 1st purchase of a delics so it's all :confused1: for me. Maybe I should ring up now and ask if they have the 120 heel?.:rolleyes:

I think maybe a Declic specialist should answer that for you.From what I am I understanding, yes they will be 4 and 5, but will walk like 3.5 and 4.5 since they have a platform. someone correct me if I am wrong. I was just as confused yesterday too. I decided to just get the 120 since this will be my first pair of Declics as well.

If you feel comfortable to enough to walk in 5" (really 4.5 with the plat) I say go for it.

^^ Thanks for the :tup:...I think I could pull of the 140 heel (practicing) but I shall just wait and see. What color are you getting?...I'm going tom with my foot petals etc just in case. They have to be perfect since i was :busted with DH....:shame:

The 120s are almost 5 inches, but they feel like 4 inches because of the platform. (Same feeling as the VPs, if you have any). The 140s are 5.5 inches, and feel like 4 3/4 ish because of the platform. The platform isn't a full inch, but more like 3/4 of an inch.

I pre-ordered both red and grey. I don't know which color I will keep though. I think once I see how these work then maybe I will consider the 140, I think I am just being a chicken now.

I am banned from buying, but they were pre-ordered before my ban, so I will not be getting any for a long time now! I understand the need for them to be perfect, maybe he will get over it quicker!

jh, thanks for the clarification. My VPs are no problem at all and I could take them a littel higher.

Shoe, I think you will be ok with the 140, since jh compared them to the 120 VPs.

I think it depends on what you want them for. My black declics I wear to work, so they need to be a little more practical and the lower heel height is great for that. My fuschias are obviously less practical, so maybe I could have done the higher height in them, since I'm likely not doing a lot of walking when I wear them - although there has been some dancing...haha!

wks ago i kept getting :lecture:then last night it all came out...when it did then he said fine and nothing else was said so i was like :huh: ok then....so now I'm so tempted to get a pair of YSL 105 pump..but then I know he will be :mad: and :rant:. If I do buy the YSL I will promise myself to go on ban :shocked: I will have too.

I tried on the Elephant Gray and they where nice but for me they didn't have the wow factor i liked them though just not enough for me to spend £s. Do you know when you will be getting your delics? What size did you get?
The lady today at a another store said they are running large to size so i don't know how true this is. I just hope 36 1/2 fit me. I shall pray all the way there and the SA's are nice to me. :upsidedown:

:shocked: JH4200 you can dance in em??...I can't do much walking/dancing/ when in my MM i fear that i will scuff em'. When I first got my MM I waited 4 months b4 I was brave enough to wear em' down the bar not far from my home and each step I took slowly I felt like I was treading on egg shells :faint:.
