Thanks for that. I don't know why they are so secretive about the launch date. I have contacted an SA about pre-order a while ago but she hasn't gotten back to me so I am assuming it's not possible. Anyway I will be waking up fresh and early on 1st November! This will be my first limited edition purchase so hope it will be a success lol!

Preorder is not available for this year Christmas edition globally. I'm in Australia. I've reconfirmed with my CA this week whilst I was in the area.She showed me her email for upcoming releases from HQ with SKU numbers. On that attachment, they've highlighted Christmas edition "Available 1/11. No preorders allowed for anyone all networks" in big capitalised bold font :nuts:.

My CA said "told you so not that I didn't want to help you" :sad:

So, the best way to get it, is to leave it to trusted CA to hold the item and contact back once it's available.

(UK based) I pre-ordered 4 pieces from the Christmas collection yesterday (I was chatting to the store manager at the time and there wasn't a problem) there is always the - we can't 100% guarantee that you'll get every item comment but they were happy to try. I also saw the screens as they were ordering and the dates on the screen said that the were accepting pre-orders from mid October with the launch on Nov 1st.
 
I pre-ordered one piece of the collection with a 100% advance payment last week and it was completely unproblematic. My SA didn't say anything about they couldn't guarantee I will get my item so we will see. *fingerscrossed*
I live in Germany, but I don't think that the country makes a difference.

Which store is that if you don't mind me asking? I am going to try and contact them again. Client services are like no you can't pre-order but maybe I just need to visit the store? Hopefully they will let me pre-order because I am not sure how successful it will be to get it online...

Client services are difficult at times - but they told me the same thing. It was only because I know a few of the advisors at my local store (and they know I follow the Christmas collections every year) that I managed. The store that I go to is in Edinburgh. Where abouts are you located if you don't mind me asking?

My nearest store is the Birmingham one. I don't have a regular SA because everytime I've been there I've been served by a different SA, although one did leave me her details. I'm not a big customer so I'm not sure if they will let me pre-order but if not I can always try to stalk the website!

You should go in and have a chat with them. At least then you can say you tried. I'm not a big customer either, its sometimes 6 months or more between visits.... I find that a lot of LV lines aren't really to my taste at the moment. I only pre-ordered because some items I wanted are always difficult to get online (I wanted the Sarah wallet and passport cover)
 
Hi, I am in Australia too!! I have just preordered the Christmas collection today. Like literally few minutes ago. I have been told that they are doing the preorder a week earlier before the launch, so maybe try and ask your SA one more time. :flowers::flowers: *finger crossed*
Oh I am in AU too! Do you have a list of the SKUs? The one I spoke with was kinda more clueless than me...
 
As a huge Vivienne lover, I’m utterly excited that my CA says that he has made a reservation on the gorgeous passport holder for me:yahoo:
I usually don’t like any of the animation or limited edition lines, but the Vivienne and Eiffel Tower combo on this one was irresistable!

However, I must admit that I get a bit concerned when I read about the Jungle fiasco, what exactly happened? Do I need to worry that I may not get my passport holder, even though my CA says that the reservation was already made for me a while ago..? :-s
