I love them very much and colorful backs but I feel like I am not sure if I need both. I'm leaning towards keeping the Shanghai and returning the Venice but I prefer the blue leather of the Venice but the print of the Shanghai lol! maybe I will return both? I don't know what to do!

I have both the pouches too and love them! Will you use them in your purse or for pens? I'm torn - they are so pretty, I kind of want to put them on my home office desk and just stare at them ;-)

here's why the last 3 years xmas animation didn't attract me (although some ppl may like it):
- 2016: Evasion Illustration - i didn't like the smog and dust from the cars engine
- 2017: Polar bear - this reminded me of the coca cola bear; Giraffe: no meaning to me
- 2018: Some bear skiing - looks like they skipped a lot of detail, esp with the mountain which are basically triangles;
Lions and cheetahs: reminded me of a Safari

this years
- 2019: features vivienne: louis vuitton mascot -- has at least some representation of LV;
the paris theme - home of LV
the venice theme has a stunning blue, the trunks have amazing detail

next years (what i'm hoping)
i hope next year, we can just have animations of scenic / iconic places with no living thing

So my son who’s 8 1/2 and loves all things LV (wonder where he learned that from!) said the same thing about the dust coming from the car! I actually have that charm and love it but he always says it makes him sad because he thinks the lady lost her hat and the car is broken down. [emoji23]

Completely agreed on the last few years - I thought the idea behind Evasion was great but I didn’t like the execution. 2017 was a complete miss for me, and 2018 I liked the lions and cheetahs but not enough to actually want a piece of the collection for myself. This was the first year I really loved the design!

So I was at the mall earlier with my youngest and he wanted to get a pretzel at Auntie Anne's. I ordered four and the deal was you buy three and you get one for free. I was looking at the cash register and on the screen, the price was 3.79, 3.29, 3.79, 3.29 and the total 12 something. Seriously, I felt like someone was ringing all the SLGs in front of me. LOL. I just then I realized that while I like them, I don't need them. I'm not really a SLG person ( I have 2 LV wallets, cles, pocket agenda cover) and I bought them within a 10 year period. I'll probably just stick to two items and be on my way. Just sharing an Aha moment for people still thinking they got carried away buying because I think I did.

LOL that is exactly how I feel! They are so pretty I just want to stare at them. I dont even think I will put things like pens or makeup that can leak in it as I would hate to get the lining ruined! I use my mini pochettes more to put stuff in since they are not microfiber lined like these or leather backed. This is why I cant decide if I should just return both and get my money back. Or I should just keep them. I am torn as well. What have you decided?

i returned my Venice mini pochette and i think i mentioned it here a while back but the SA who took my return quickly saved it for his clients, after my return, he was walking around the store holding the Venice MP underneath his arm, whilst helping other clients. which kinda sucked because i wanted one of you guys to get it :doh:

i wouldn't give up hope though, i saw ppl selling them on 2nd hand sites with date code as late as 43rd week
