I agree with you. She's not hurting anyone. You bet yo a$$, I'll be grinning and annoying when I can look like that at 60.
You know, Brinkley had a very limited type of modelling career. She was the perfect California bikini beach babe, all smiles and blue eyes but she couldn't do catwalk and pretty much only did Seventeen type magazines. When she got older, it was still the bathing suit thing and then endorsements, which is where the money is.
In other words, the kicking up the leg and big smile is all she's got. (But it made her rich and famous, so good fro her.)
We're close in age and I can guarantee if I tried kicking up a leg there's a good chance I'd break a hip!
The smile is her #1 beauty tip according to the interview I saw. Maybe she doesn't look so young when she doesn't smile. Maybe that's why she smiles all the time in pics.

For instance, my second or third husband (Billy Joel) had an affair which freaked me out so much, I ran and got my first facelift, while I was still in my 40s. That kind of thing. lol

The 61-year-old former supermodel has been dating rocker John Mellencamp for a little while now and they're still going strong. Brinkley appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to promote her new book, Timeless Beauty, and Wendy of course got her talking about her personal life.
"I'm just having fun and, you know, we'll see," Brinkley said of her new relationship. "Yeah, I mean we're dating and you know, having a good time. You've been subjected to my private life enough so I'm just trying to keep my private life private."
Being such a blond bombshell, however, Brinkley must have guys lined up around the block. But there was one quality about Mellencamp that made her swoon. "He has an edge because he's the only guy in his 60s that asked me out," she confessed.
Mellencamp, who was married to model Elaine Irwin for 18 years before they separated in 2010, previously dated Meg Ryan for three years prior, but they split up in 2014. "Meg is an angel. She was just an angel sent to me at the right time," Mellencamp later said on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show.
Brinkley was famously married to Billy Joel, from 1985 until 1994. While talking to host Williams, Brinkley shared how she and the "Uptown Girl" singer have remained on good terms.
"Well, I've had a lot of practice. You know what it was, we had Alexa [Ray Joel] together and we knew that was going to bind us together for life so we wanted to make our divorce work," she explained. "Of course as you're going through it, you know, you can get a little bit raw, but you cannot find him saying a bad word about me or me saying a bad word about him, no matter what happens."
Brinkley has been married four times altogether and has two other children, son Jack and daughter Sailor, in addition to Alexa.
Mellencamp, 63, and Brinkley were spotted leaving a hotel restaurant together in September, with a source telling E! News then that they were simply "spending time together." Brinkley also accompanied him to his taping of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, further fueling the romance reports.

I like Christie now, she is gorgeous, but I didn’t like her when she was young. And the reason for liking her now and not liking her back were her huge cheeks. When she was younger I thought that she looked not very sculpted in the face, but now these cheeks makes her look younger, so she didn’t need filler, that makes more older women looking strange. Just a face lift was enough for her and she looks natural, because of that. Another reason is that she didn’t touch her lips, the injected lips are first that give away for the fake look.
She has a great smile, and that smile is lifting her face, that is the reason she overdoes it. Great genes and hard work are responsible for her amazing body. Her legs are TDF, but if you don’t have them naturally, no matter how hard you work out - you can’t get them. Lots of older women get fat around the knees and that is a give away for old age.
