hi, everyone!
i brought my brand new bianca to get resoled. The cobbler had done a terrible job, but it is jut the bottom, so i can get away with it. When i brought the shoes home, i noticed there is a 5cm cut (looks like it is cut by a knife). It is so big and noticeable. I bought it back to get him to fix it. He basicaly just glued it and sprayed paint on it. Im so sad because i havent worn it yet. When i bought it there, it was brand new. But now it is damaged. I dont know what to do. He is an old man, and he said he couldnt sleep that night after fixing my shoes. Should i ask him for compensation? I feed really sad because this is my first CL shoes. What do you ladies think I should do?

Yikes! That sounds terrible. Personally, I would be really upset with the cobbler. I would send them to MM7 in Paris to get fixed. They are Louboutin's official/trusted cobbler. They apparently do spectacular work. If anyone can fix your Biancas its them:smile1: I hope this helps! Good luck!!

should i try to ask the cobbler to pay for the repair fee? I feel kind of bad because he is older. I dont wanna pay for it since i bought the brand new shoes. omg i dont know what to do.

You could ask him but I am thinking that he will probably just offer to fix them again. I would not let him touch them again but if he could compensate for your trouble that will definitely help with the cost for the MM7 repair. You'll never know if you don't try! I would ask him...he should not have agreed to do the work if he was not capable. He obviously agrees that he messed up when he said that he couldn't sleep because of it. I feel bad but not enough to let him off the hook. It's just not right! You spent all that money on your shoes and now they are less than perfect. KWIM?

I've just used H Robertson, Castle Street, Edinburgh, Scotland (UK).

I'd asked Pam Jenkins if they would suggest anyone local so that I didn't have to send my shoes away - while PJ normally send their repairs to London as well, apparently they occasionally use this cobbler.

Supplied and fitted Vibram soles and heel taps - £18 in total (see my other post here for pics.)

Hi ladies,

Does anyone know a good cobbler in the Vancouver area? I just bought my first pair of louboutins and I bought Vibrams on eBay too, I wouldn't want it to be messed up! Any in the Vancouver area or close by like the Bellingham area or around there?

Thanks in advance! :)
